Summary: Ok I have had my monitor for 10 days now, at first I was not happy with the brighness and contrast of the monitor. After making adjustments with my graphics software and using the controls on the monitor itself I finally got a great picture. I think four stars for picture quality. Now the sound is on the opposite side of the fence, poor and I mean poor sound quality.
Volume controls are hard to find and not user friendly

Summary: The monitor LOOKS great but the time it takes to find and use the volume control buttons make it a real pain if you want to lower or raise the volume quickly. You need to work the controls like BRAILLE - one control to find AUDIO another one to raise or lower the sound. Who thought this was sexy? My old monitor had a volume control right in front that you could raise or lower easily.
Summary: I do not understand why people think this is a bad monitor. I bought two of these things and the worst thing about them is the sound(Which is every flat panel monitor or tv) and maybe the buttons on the bottm but i got used to that. So buy some REAL speakers and not rely on crappy monitor speakers. I have a 1gb graphics card and go dual output of dvi to each one of the monitors and trust me the picture is great.
Summary: I love everything about this monitor, EXCEPT that there are no height and tilt adjustments. :( I had to perch mine on a monitor stand so that I wouldn't be angling my neck downward while I work all the time. Aside from that bit of annoyance in the design, the screen quality itself is great!
Summary: I purchased this monitor as a 2nd display for my Mac Pro. My primary display is a 2 year old 20" Apple LCD (not one of their new LED monitors). At first glance, it looks great next to the Apple monitor, however after a few days I noticed some oddities: 1) Color reproduction is not as good as the Apple monitor, although still excellent for something in this price range 2) Response is a little slow, but not off-putting 3) Using it in a darkened room is not recommended.
Summary: About 3 years ago I bought a Viewsonic VX922 monitor, and recently it only works intermittently when tested on several PC's, it won't come on reliably. If you turn it off and on 30 or 40 times it will eventually come on, but then at any moment it will go off again. I'm told this is probably a damaged component in the monitor from heat. So I bought a Viewsonic VX2262wm and it came today.
Summary: Ok, I'll make this short and sweet. After ordering the monitor, it took no more than what was estimated (5th business day) which is seemingly a rare quality when ordering online now. The monitor itself has a glossy black metallic look to it (if you're into a contemporary, yet 'WOW!' styled look, this is it!).
