Summary: I have owned this screen for about 4 years now. It's a great screen in general but there are some features of it that stop it getting a full five stars. 1. The LED power button is quite bright. This becomes an issue when you turn off the lights to watch a movie and you have this annoying bright blue light shining at you. 2. The on board speakers are pretty rubbish, but what can you expect from speakers on a monitor?
Summary: I am using this monitor now. I like it and would recommend it to others. My daughter is the computer expert and she did, as usual, lots of shopping and comparing of prices and which size I would be comfortable to use. Actually I did not find I needed any adjustment time and I have been happy ever since it arrived.
Summary: 3 of my friends bought this very model monitor for playing halo 3 on. The picture is great, its very smooth, and there is absolutely no noticeable lag when pressing a button on the control and the action happening on the screen. If your looking for any sort of screen to play games on, this is what you want, unless your looking for something larger, you might want to go with a 40 inch samsung with the uprgraded refresh rate. but it won't look as nice.
Summary: I just received this monitor yesterday and have been running it as a dual screen with Windows Vista/Windows 7. The monitor looks great, colors are sharp. I didn't really see any issue with the blacks that someone noted in another review, but since I edit photos quite a bit I noticed a significant difference from my laptop monitor (obviously). Though not for a professional photographer, for the casual enthusiast editing pictures this is a really good all around monitor.
Summary: ViewSonic VX2260WM 22-Inch 1080p HDMI LCD Monitor For some reason I cannot obtain full screen in Vista (32-bit). I have a black border around the edges of my screen (about 1/2" thick) that I cannot seem to make go away no matter what drivers I use for Display or Video. I am connected via HDMI (no gender changers involved either) running at full 1080p. I'm sure I'll eventually get to the bottom of the problem... Ubuntu & DOS however display full screen! No issues there...
Summary: My PC is getting too old to play most modern games so I decided to get a PS3. Since I didn't want to tie up my TV all the time, I needed something with both HDMI and DVI-D for the PC. This is one of the few monitors I've found that offers that, and at a price that's unbeatable. This replaced a Dell Ultra Sharp 24" and, no, it's not quite as good as that, but the Dell has no HDMI and it's not HDCP compliant, so no Blu-Ray movies.
