Summary: While this seems to be a good buy, the internal parts are the same as an Acer, which is much cheaper, and the Compaq (HP) 2105tc, but costs 70.00 more. for the money, it doesn't make sense to pay more for the same thing.

Summary: The kind folks at Viewsonic have carefully concealed the fact that, as shipped, the touch-screen function of this model does not work under Windows XP. Yes, if you read the user guide, it says "connect the USB cable to your Windows 7 system," but that's the ONLY indication that this much-ballyhooed touchscreen monitor is a touchscreen ONLY if you have W7. In fact, if you e-mail them, they will say that no XP driver is available.
