Summary: This monitor was extremely easy to put together and hook up. I love the color contrast that LED's are known for (bright but right). This monitor is perfect for my two monitor system and I can't wait to get another of these to make it a tri-fecta.
Summary: I needed to replace a 13 year old View sonic monitor which came with my wife's Video-Eye Equipment. She has very low vision. So far it works fine, was easy to set up for her to use and is just the right height to stay out of the way of the new Aumed CCTV camera. Only time will tell if it holds up as long as the old Viewsonic monitor did.
Summary: I love games, and technology and I also love beauty. The viewsonic packs all of what I like at a cheaper price. The reason for the 4 star rating is because for some reason, when I out the resolution at 1080p, it becomes lower than a 1000p. I think it is because of my laptop, but that may be just me.
Init Impression; ok only; turn off game mode= better picture

Summary: Edit: Thanks to Cliffs comment about image quality being affected if game mode was turned on. His hint of using the UP Arrow to turn off game mode was useful. I tend not to read manuals, but poke around in settings to change what I need to. I didn't find game mode using my usual method. Clicking just the Up arrow by itself would have never happened with my approach. The image improved a noticeable amount. Better smoothness, less grainy characteristics.
Summary: Hello all, I am not a techy that can spout off all the reasons why this thing rocks...but the eye test shows this is an EXCELLENT monitor that is light, thin, has an HDMI port and an excellent picture. I have this as an extension to my macbook air. It really does look great and does exactly what I need it to do. Installation was the easiest I've tried (dell monitors are huge, heavy, blah blah). I really really like this monitor...
Summary: i have a nice 55 inch samsung tv in my room and now this monitor. in comparison this monitor is horrible if you dont compare it without a nice tv you probably wont notice but if you buy you will see that its really bright and foggy.. and turning on game mode makes things even brighter and foggier!
Summary: Wow what an improvement. I had a 19" CRT at home that was 14 years old. Decided to come into the 2000s now that the price for the LCD LED-lit monitors has has come way down. Love the wide screen aspect, love the clarity, love that I can use HDMI for optimal resolution. Have a LCD at work and this blows it away. In fact, I just ordered one for work out of my own pocket.
