Excellent Image, but may cause initial confusion for Mac Users

Summary: I received this monitor yesterday, and was confused at first about the setup to use it as my primary display for my MacBook Pro. I wanted to post this tutorial because it didn't seem as if there were that many in-depth reviews of this monitor for Mac users. I hope this is helpful to you. Just click the "yes" button above the review!
Summary: Review aimed at Apple Mac users (not sure what would also apply to PC type users): This monitor pairs great with my latest Apple Mac (ONCE you buy the additional "Thunderbolt to DVI" Adapter female Cable (otherwise your Mac will never talk to the ViewSonic), which on Amazon translates to http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00425MQGA/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 "J-Tech Digital High Quality Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter female Cable") . . .
Summary: While this is a budget product it contains certain features that are typically found on higher end products. Budget • Viewable Size: 21.5 in • 1920 x 1080 • Response Time: 5 ms • DVI-D • VGA • 10000000:1 • Power Consumption: 25 W • Weight: 8.6 lbs.
Summary: Only a week after the date of eligibility to return this item and the screen has turned green! I've reviewed the policy and it is cheaper to keep than it is to try for the partial refund. I've no recourse left but to accept the loss.
Summary: The montior arrived on time and was well packaged. The monitor is easy to set up and use and works well, provides great color and excellent contrast! My only complaint is that out of the box 1 pixel was bad and since I like a black background on the screen it shows up in RED and is VERY noticable and annoying! I almost sent the monitor back because of the defect.
Summary: Was time to replace my flaky Gateway monitor, and I settled on the Viewsonic... Wow. Great display. Crisp, even. Set perfectly out of the box, didn't need to mess with settings at all. Love these so much, I decided that a quad monitor system would be awesome, so I got two more. I never hooked up the speakers (I have good speakers already), so I can't speak toward that, but as a PC monitor... this is a great deal.
