Summary: The sub-£150 flat-panel displays sector has been receiving plenty of new blood in recent months. The 21.5in ViewSonic VX2250wm takes most of the best bits from what's already there, and melds them into a quietly impressive little screen.
ViewSonic's VX2250wm LED Monitor – An Affordable Full HD LED Monitor
11 November 2010
Excerpt: Design and Features I was quite impressed when I pulled the monitor out if its box. It was glossy, jet black sleek and thin, with feather-touch menu buttons. The words 1080p and LED was written at the bottom left of the screen. My first instinct was to look at the back for connections. Surprise, surprise – no HDMI; only VGA, DVI and a 3.5 mm input for audio to the integrated stereo speakers.
Excerpt: At the risk of wheeling out a tired cliché, it really is a great time to buy a new monitor at the moment. Most manufacturers have launched their LED-backlit models and - as ever - are all competing intensely on price. ViewSonic's new VX2250wm-LED isn't exactly pretty, but its image quality is a step up from others we've seen.
