Summary: Wow! How long ago did I buy this? Seven years ago, maybe? Is it even still available? Well, I am using it to write this review and it is still performing well. I was happy with its' specs and performance when I bought it, and I can't see any degradation in performance now.
Summary: This monitor has awesome color and clarity, is attractive and goes PERFECTLY with other choice computer components. The base is small enough to be out of the way, but has kind of a bowl shape to it, making it perfect for flash drive or other odds & ends storage...
Summary: I have two of the ViewSonic VX2240w 22" digital/analog Widescreen LCD Monitors. I have had these units for quite a while and I am very happy with them. I am able to calibrate them for my photography uses. The brilliant images that come from these monitors is dynamic and alluring.
Summary: I bought this monitor to use with a new MAC Mini. Our old monitor was VGA only. The standard adapter with the Mini is DVI, and the VGA adapter is an added cost. This VX2240W has both interfaces so it was a good fit without needing to buy another adapter..
Summary: Bought this monitor to use at work as a dual monitor with another Viewsonic 2226w. Works great! Love having dual 22s to see diagrams and spreadsheets. Planning to purchase another 2240w for use at home. I've had this monitor since Feb 09 and have had no problems with it.
Summary: The screen is crisp and bright, works as expected. The middle button is the power button and it glows blue when on, orange when on standby. The stand at the bottom seems to stick out more in the front than the back and is slightly too tall to slide your keyboard over.
Summary: I absolutely love this monitor. It has replaced my previous 22' ViewSonic that performed flawlessly for 10 years or more.To my pleasant surprise this model allows me to work without covering the window behind me to prevent glare on the screen.
Summary: I purchased this monitor in Jan 08 for much more than the going price. I have a basic 2003 computer and needed to purchase a graphics card to see 1680 x 1050. I use analog since my computer doesn't support digital. Works very well for me.
