Summary: I am not at all pleased with the LCD monitor from Viewsonic. We have used them in the automation system in radio studios, but for photo editing, I am not impressed with the color and the contrast ratio. I feel like my venture (albeit late) into purchasing an LCD flatscreen monitor was a failure.
Summary: Very nice monitor for daily use. Only problem I have is they don't actually shut down when using the monitor shutdown option in Windows and when running dual monitors the primary monitor won't always come out of power save mode.
Summary: Bought this monitor after doing a lot of research on which monitor to get. My first choice was a Samsung 226BW but after reading about quality control issues with the lcd panel on those I decided to go with the Viewsonic since it had the best color reproduction and fast response time.
Summary: I've had the monitor for over a month and it's definitely a mixed bag. I have a dual G4 Mac running 10.4.11. The color is very good but you need to play with the custom settings, all the presets are way too bright. Even in the custom settings you need to turn all the colors way down.
Summary: It does the job but given that this unit is a little pricier, and with slightly better specs than some of the other 22" models I was expecting a little brighter and sharper display than I got.
