Summary: First off I never paid any out of pocket money for this monitor. I did some minor pc work for a friend and in return he gave me this non working monitor. When I took it home and set it up the monitor would get power but the screen was an absolute blank. I decided to open up the monitor and have a look at the parts inside. Sure enough, it had five bad capacitors.
Summary: If your looking for a good monitor, this is what I would go with in 2011. The monitors are about 5 years old, but they work and look great. My other suggestion is for eyefinity users. These monitors can be found for 60-150 bucks on eBay and were a great solution for my triple monitor setup needs.
Summary: The monitor functions as advertised. I had misgivings about the product when I installed it: it seemed blurry in certain areas and I was concerned that it may have been damaged. I used the "Auto Image Adjust" feature and all of my problems went away.
Summary: I've had this monitor for 2 months now. It's sharp and clear. I do a lot of spreadsheet processing and Photoshop work and the image quality is excellent. At it's optimum resolution, 1680x1050, I find the font on all programs and web pages too small, but I simply hit Ctrl+ and I'm good to go. Still sharp and clear. I'm in front of this monitor for at least 12 hours a day and love it. Even the built in speakers are satisfactory.
Summary: The colors are wonderful and the images are crisp. I use my LCD mostly for e-mail, internet, and word processing. Photos pictures are great too. The built in speakers are nice and the unit is sleek and very easy to setup. This is a great monitor. I am very happy with it.
