Summary: For a 22 in. this LCD is huge. It's resolution will only go one step higher but I don't think that justifies purchases a new video card. The screen is fuzzy and simply put, this monitor is a waste of money. I'm putting it in the Junk bin.
"Do not waste your money, bought 3, 2 do not work"

Pros: one monitor works
Cons: Bought 3 monitors 10/08 from Quill, 1 stopped working the 10/08 Quill did replace, another one stopped working in 05/09, Called View Sonic Customer service 5 times, emailed and faxed info twice. They claim they could not find the info I sent.
Horrible Build quality, customer support, & RMA process
9 March 2009
Summary: Foolishly, I purchased two of these monitors since I wanted to have identical monitors for use with my dual DVI outputs on my Video Card. I originally purchased this model monitor because of it's size and Viewsonic's supposedly solid reputation with monitor manufacturing. After a year of normal use, a 1/4" vertical line appeared on the right hand side of the screen.
Summary: Viewsonic customer service is nonexistent and product support worse than poor. Products are poorly made and will not last. Call technical support 1800-688-6688 and see how long you have to wait for a service rep. Online you get someone to respond who barely speaks English. I bought a plasma TV for $3000 and it failed in less than 3 years. Viewsonic reaction: Too bad, you should have bought a warranty and we'll fix it in 48 hours. Without one, you are on your own.
Summary: I bought this from Costco, instead of Amazon because they had a price that was "too good to be true". And it was! Unfortunately this screen was a non-starter for anyone who does digital imaging or critical viewing of anything. I'm very happy with my Viewsonic VX900 19" screen, and was hoping to get the same image quality w/more desktop space. The problem w/this VX2235 was, at least on my screen very uneven lighting from top to bottom and side to side.
