Summary: The best monitor I have ever used, when working with computer, and I have been doing this kind of work for years, this is why I continue to buy this monitor every chance I see A great!!!! deal.
This is a used unit and ViewSonic did have some issues
20 May 2010
Summary: Support could be a lot better. The web site is very hard to find anything in. Best to just search the net and hope for a hit at there Site. You may not find to there.Still working on a driver for the unit. Have tried Viewsonic's site now going to just go to the paid for Driver Site I normally use. With the price I paid I did not expect great. Just average and thats what I got.
Summary: These monitors are so good that for the price that I ended up buying 3. The only con I have is that my original 2 that I bought a year before I purchased the third are noticeably Dimmer than the new one. I ended up just dimming the brightness on my new one to better match the other 2, it's still noticeable but doable. Gotta love having 60.3" of desktop screen.
Summary: My friends, this is in fact one of the most amazing monitors i have purchased and used. This product does not only have near perfect quality picture but it supports 1600x1200 resolution which is at what i have mine configured at currently. I love it and you should too.
Summary: I now have two of these monitors on my desk side by side. They're fantastic. The reason I bought the first one is because it had a large screen, good resolution, costs less than other 20" monitors, and comes from ViewSonic.
Summary: excellent monitor. owned my first one for 2.8yrs and have loved it enough to buy a second. color matching between the two are great. no ghosting at all during any kind of activity. the only down side would be it has no usb ports on it, but for me it wasn't a big deal. the speakers on on the monitor are so-so, but who buys a monitor for its built in speakers? at most i plug my ipod into them from time to time.
Summary: I've had this monitor for about 2 years now. It was all fine in the beginning but after a year or so, the DVI port broke down on me (ie no signal can be detected using the monitor's DVI port). From a quick google searc, I've found out that it's a very common problem with the VX2025, I've found hundreds of cases like mine. I've tried the factory reset quickfix a few times- it worked but now that doesn't even work anymore.
Summary: I LIKE THE SPACE SAVING SIZE OF THIS MONITOR.NICE SHARP QUALITY PICTURE. EASY CONTROL PANAL WITH BUILT IN SPEAKERS. I NEEDED A NEW MONITOR WITH A LARGE SCREEN AND VIEWSONIC IS A GOOD QUALITY NAME AND PRODUCT.THE PRICE WASN'T BAD EATHER.
Summary: This is my 2nd VX2025wm purchase. I bought my original one at full retail for $450 in 2006. This is a wonderful, crisp, beautiful monitor and plays games as well as serves as my main display. Recently I've setup a workstation in my home office and use a KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse switcher aka KVM). I could switch between all my systems on one monitor, but I was missing important IM's from work and answering them late.
Summary: I wanted to give the VX2025WM a full five-star rating, but there are a few things just serious enough to knock that last star off -- at least in my personal opinion. You've likely read most of the reviews here already along with all of the specs on the 2025, but there are a couple of more glaring omissions in both thusfar. First, nowhere in the specs -- even on Viewsonic's own website -- can I find the specification for dot pitch.
