Scan-rate Issue Forced Return - Potential buyers should note the size of the stand. (14 inches!)

Summary: Just returned mine. Best I can tell it had a scan-rate issue, as I couldn't use it for more than a few minutes without incredible eye-strain. At first use the image quality seemed good, loved the additional screen real estate, etc..., but my eyes couldn't take it. Setting that quality issue aside, potential buyers should be aware that the stand on this monitor is enormous!
Probably fine for gaming and as a general purpose monitor, but not for professional work

Summary: An okay monitor, but if you do serious image work, it likely won't do. Tried 2 of these, and both had severe edge bleeding to the point I could not use it for image work. I instead sprung for an NEC MultiSync with SpectraView - and what a difference. I guess you get what you pay for. This is probably fine for gaming and as a general purpose monitor, but I tried it for professional work and it just didn't cut it.
