Summary: Amazing quality. Comes with a color calibration report from the factory. ViewSonic Includes plenty of cables with this monitor (an HDMI, Displayport, DVI, and VGA). The stand is sturdy and well-adjustable. This monitor has less input lag than its direct competitors.
Summary: Beautiful monitor. Mine has a slight visual malformation in the bottom right corner... a small area about the diameter of a cigarette that's a bit lighter than the rest of the screen. It doesn't bother me at all being where it is (about 1.25 inches in from the right side of the screen, right at the baseline) and when there's something on the screen that's not a flat color you can't even see it anyway. The clarity is crystal, and I mean that.
Summary: Just returned this monitor due to the side USB ports failing. When I first got it and tried to connect to a USB port on the side of the screen (there are two), One was inoperative, OK, it's only one, no real biggie, I can live with that, then 2 weeks later the other quit working. The bottom port was loose inside of the monitor, which explains why I had a difficult time connecting to it and it was the one that did not work, the other was still solid but failed.
Summary: The only doubt i had was about the refresh rate of the monitor and the possibility of any blur, i have a few months with the monitor now and all i can say is i haven’t found any noticeable problem while gaming so i would amply recommend the product to anyone looking for a gaming monitor, plus the resolution is great and a single gtx 680 has no problem running almost any game on full res and max graphic settings.
Summary: I got this monitor based solely on reviews regarding its incredible picture- all of which are true. However, coming from the Dell Ultrasharp series - a relationship that ended when the u2713hm had more backlight bleeding than picture - I can only say that almost everything else is disappointing at this price range. Sure, there's plenty of connection options like the dell, but no PiP, PbP, or any other options.
Summary: Edit: Read update at the bottom. So first off let me begin with the actual monitor quality: Pros: - Excellent stand (nice and durable though some may find it a tad unwieldy) - Turns left and right, you can also tilt and rotate the panel. - Simple, but effective bezel design - Produces very little heat - Plenty of inputs - Comes with all of the cables you will ever need (including DisplayPort, which is great) - Excellent factory calibration.
Excellent quality out of the box - you get what you pay for

Summary: WOW. The reviews on Amazon and elsewhere on the web were right. This monitor is high quality and comes at the right price. I'm really happy with this purchase. This monitor really delivers as promised: * A clean picture at 2560×1440. Non-fuzzy screen coating. * Vivid yet accurate colors. Able to notice subtle details, but not overblown with color saturation. * Clean industrial design - matte black finish, and a wide, stable base that makes physical sense.
Summary: Exactly what I was looking for in a CAD monitor. I have two 27" 2560x1440 monitors - the ViewSonic and the Dell - side by side. The ViewSonic LED is clear and crisp with colors that pop and where the subtle differences in colors show up in CAD line work. The Dell is off white and the colors all tend to merge in together. Very happy.
Summary: I just upgraded from an older LG Flatron L222wt which I thought was pretty good. Now, I have this new viewsonic sitting right next to the older LG in a dual monitor setup and the color and clarity is not even close. I do a lot of digital art, so color accuracy is very important. The size is perfect too. It gives me plenty of room to lay out my photoshop palettes and any reference pictures I might need.
