Best screen of many that I ordered

Intamin "Intamin", Amazon
2 April 2015
  • Summary: Best screen of many that I ordered. No dead pixels, etc. But the IPS glow in the corners can be annoying when switching from different panel tech. Additionally, the screen is so bright to me (even at 0 brightness) that I have to use Windows Magnifier to invert colors in order to read text without...

Beautiful picture

Barry B., Newegg
17 February 2015
  • Summary: This monitor is pre-calibrated, although we've not yet developed photos from it yet, the on screen colors are brilliant and detailed. It is pre-calibrated to Adobe colors, which should be excellent considering we're editing photography in Photoshop with this monitor.
  • Pros: Gorgeous screen, had 6 dead pixels and an odd waver in the perimeter of the screen. NewEgg replaced it fairly quickly although it would've been nice to get the replacement before sending the faulty unit back. Viewsonic was also great on the phone and told us to send it back as well as it wasn't u...
  • Cons: Had to return the first unit...the 2nd seems OK now.

This is a perfect addition to my photography processing setup

Charles A. Floyd, Amazon
27 December 2014
  • Summary: This is a perfect addition to my photography processing setup. I often print photos at 12" x 16" and this monitor allows me to see my them at better than 1:1 size. The resolution and picture quality are superb.

Be prepared for 6500K and the high resolution

Jorge, Amazon
10 December 2014
  • Summary: Great monitor in many respects. No dead pixels, moderate light bleed in corners. Moderate darkening on left and right side of screen. Great resolution. Paid for two day delivery on Sat. and glad I did because the box announces loudly what it contains.

The First LCD Display to Meet Photographer's Needs

Robert D. Bernstein, Amazon
24 November 2014
  • Summary: I am a professional photographer and I want my display to show photos, not cartoon versions of photos. I find most LCD displays cartoonish. It amazes me that people gave up the subtlety of CRT displays for the fashion statement of LCDs. But I have to say, this one delivers.

Best monitor I've ever had the pleasure of owning, well worth the price.

Drew, Amazon
22 November 2014
  • Summary: The colors look amazing right out of the box. This is not something I can say about any other monitor I've used before. I did a little tinkering because I am a bit obsessive about it, but it really wasn't necessary.

Scan-rate Issue Forced Return - Potential buyers should note the size of the stand. (14 inches!)

B. Harriger, Amazon
7 November 2014
  • Summary: Just returned mine. Best I can tell it had a scan-rate issue, as I couldn't use it for more than a few minutes without incredible eye-strain. At first use the image quality seemed good, loved the additional screen real estate, etc..., but my eyes couldn't take it.

Needs to be blacker

Joel and Amber, Amazon
23 October 2014
  • Summary: The blacks aren't the darkest blacks I was expecting. For a pro monitor, I would have expected them to be darker. But other than that, the resolution and color are fantastic.

Probably fine for gaming and as a general purpose monitor, but not for professional work

abra2345, Amazon
21 October 2014
  • Summary: An okay monitor, but if you do serious image work, it likely won't do. Tried 2 of these, and both had severe edge bleeding to the point I could not use it for image work. I instead sprung for an NEC MultiSync with SpectraView - and what a difference. I guess you get what you pay for.
