Not Quite 5-Star, but Close

Gerald B. Keane "jbkesq", Amazon
12 December 2013
  • Summary: I like the monitors and I certainly liked the price. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is that I bought two and use them side by side for PhotoShop and LightRoom work. While they both provide a more-than-acceptable workspace, they don't match.

A Good Thing

Amazon Customer, Amazon
7 October 2013
  • Summary: Nice monitor. Accurate color. Usable stand is easy to adjust. The onboard USB hub is handy. I'm not impressed with the tiny buttons and the on screen menu system, but overall a great monitor for a fair price.

Still up in the air

T.W., Amazon
23 September 2013
  • Summary: I've tried three Viewsonic 27" LED monitors in recent months: ViewSonic VA2703, VX2703MH-LED and this one. Frankly, aside from the USB ports and positionable base, I'm not seeing why the price is nearly $170 more than the other two. The controls on this monitor are horrible.

Great monitor! - Needs PerfectSuite packaged with it.

Bob F "fidmas", Amazon
10 January 2013
  • Summary: I got this monitor several weeks ago to replace a VP930b that finally started getting flaky after 5 years of 15 hour days 7 days/week. Those of you who also do graphics and photography know how bad LCD screens are at following a standard Gamma response curve. The fact is, they just don't.

Not bad, but 1920x1080 doesn't cut it at 27 inches or more, especially if your goal is increasing real estate.

S. Power, Amazon
20 December 2012
  • Summary: 1920x1080 spread across a 27 inches diagonal display is about 82 pixels per square inch. This is pretty dismal compared to the 400+ pixels per inch that the human eye can resolve at 12 inches.

Great Monitor

Michael B., Newegg
4 August 2012
  • Summary: Even given the two cons, the monitor is great and i would recomend it to anyone!
  • Pros: Great Monitor. Colors look great. Variety of inputs is nice. The stand lets you adjust hight, swivel, tilt....very nice stand. Monitor has 100 x 100 VESA mount. When i plugged it into my laptop running win7 it came right up perfectly centered. It is very bright so I turned the brightness down a l...
  • Cons: There are two for me. One is that the stand feet are very long which in my situation caused the monitor to be too close to where I sit. So I bought a VESA mount and removed the stand. (Excepting the long feet, the stand is really very nice - just did not work for my situation.) The other con is t...

Viewsonic VP2365-LED 23 good for the price

Timm Eubanks, Amazon
25 June 2012
  • Summary: Being a Mac user since the early 90's I lean toward using Mac Monitors as well. I am a pro photographer and need my monitors to have good contrast and color. I needed a monitor at the camera capture station that was more true to what we were capturing than what we were seeing on the Mac Book Pro...

Awesome monitor

R. Jantz, Amazon
7 June 2012
  • Summary: Gave it 4 stars because of the price and the USB hub, there's are monitors just as good as this for $25-$30 less. Screen looks amazing, wonderful color reproduction. The bezel is nice, not glossy, very professional looking. The buttons feel of a higher quality than older Viewsonic buttons.

great monitor

DC 2 Home, Amazon
19 February 2012
  • Summary: I bought this monitor mostly for doing powerpoint presentations and image editing. I hook it up to my macbook air (new edition) via a "StarTech.com MDP2DVIMM6 6 Feet Mini DisplayPort to DVI Cable - M/M" cable. The setup works great, and I see no reason to own a desktop anymore.

Worth Every Penny - Practically Perfect

Joseph D. Wagner "TechnoJoe", Amazon
6 November 2011
  • Summary: Why spend $300 for a 24" monitor when there are other 24" monitors available for half the cost? Because this monitor uses IPS (In-Plane Switching), which means you can view it from any angle (horizontal or vertical) with no noticeable distortion in color or picture.
