Excerpt: Currently used with a laptop and works extremely well. Was purchased for a PC being built which will be a much more competent system both processing and graphically. It's primary function will be in processing photographs. The user to be a rather demanding hobbyist.Quite an impressive monitor.
Pros: Adjustable, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
Summary: Great monitor for the money ..Colors spot-on out of the box..Very unusual, especially for its price, and and its use for me as a monitor for editing in Adobe Photoshop..Has received raving reviews from the photography crowd..nnNot exactly like a $1200 USD PRO monitor, but fine for most editing..No regrets!
Summary: This is a really great monitor! Before this one I had an Asus 21 Full-HD LED Monitor, which was generally a good monitor, but my eyes were constantly tired from the long hours of looking at it, due to some flickering of the monitor I think. So, I decided to invest in my health and to get an IPS monitor.
Summary: I was looking for a great monitor for reasonable price, found this one and I am happy. I have vision disability and needed my picture to be perfect, so that my eyes did not hurt. So far so good. Works great with my MacPro laptop. Picture is almost identical to Mac. Text is clear. Compare to Mac it is 95% out of 100. I only needed to buy Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter (be sure it is for monitors not iPads) It does not have speakers so be sure to buy external ones!
Excerpt: I am a professional graphic designer and video editor. I purchased this monitor to replace one of my two 20" Apple Cinema Displays. Now I have the Viewsonic sitting next to the other Cinema Display. Granted, the Apple monitor is significantly older, but the new Viewsonic is a whole lot better. Tremendously better. Sharper, cleaner, brighter, better contrast, more accurate color representation. It's just in a whole other class.
Excerpt: Did not want to pay $1000 for a Apple screen for the Mac mini. For the price this screen is amazing. Right out of the box it looks great, very sharp with good color. I did not even have to make any adjustments to the settings except brightness. I would recommend to anyone on a budget.
Excerpt: The monitor was easy to unpack, install and setup. Attaching it to the MacBook Pro required an additional DVI to Miniport adapter. It is important to read the instructions prior to turning the monitor on for the first time. Also the brightness preset is very bright and needs to be adjusted. We plan on renting a Color Munki for color calibration. Good anti-glare coating, not to flat, and good value. Would recommend this monitor.
