Summary: I have an older 21 inch View Sonic Monitor, that is High End, but old style. I needed it to work with Corel Draw, & give good Color & resolutian! I have anothe LCD Monitor, but hard to read & too much Glare! I took a chance, & bought this referbished LCD Monitor. Wow, what a difference. Minimal Glare, great resilution, & I can read the script easier. It cost a little more money, but what a differience for tired eyes. I consider this a Great Value, & Find.
Summary: I was really looking forward to using this item when I ordered it. What arrived was not a VP2130b, but rather an N2201w LCD TV with built in DVD player (with a selling price of about $400). When I contacted Amazon, they offered to let me keep the 'item with slight damage' (their description, not mine) and offered me a refund of $122 (lowering my cost at that point to $477). I declined as graciously as I could and canceled the order.
Summary: worst service that I've ever experience from any company. I purchase a viewsonic monitor, one of the top model which cost me $700. 3 months after the monitor stop working. dead black screen. I sent the monitor to viewsonic to be fix which shipping cost me additional $120 they told me that the whole process will take 2 weeks. I've got a totally different monitor back 2.5 months later. I wasn't happy with the monitor which they sent me, so I sent it back.
Summary: Pros: Huge screen area. Unlike most flat screen monitors this one has adjustable viewing angle AND HEIGHT! Sharp Resolution from 1024 X 768 to 1600 x 1200 Included both Analog and Digital signal cables Cons: High Price Awkward controls
Summary: I wanted the large screen with the "portrait feature" so that I can see more of the web page, top to bottom with less scrolling. I like the large available screen size with the 4:3 screen aspect ratio and the fact that this one will rotate to a portrait position. I have had ViewSonic monitors for years and found them to be of excellent quality, long life and trouble free. I would highly recommend this product. The monitor has a lot of other nice features.
Product OK but customer service is worse than the phone company!

Summary: After buying a number of Viewsonic monitors over the years I found them to be a fairly good brand. However my recent experience with that company was less than acceptable by ANY standards. This unit failed several months ago and I sent it in to get fixed. I got it back and since I bought a Samsung to replace it, didn't hook it up until a few months later. It lasted two days before blowing up completely.
Summary: I have had a number of ViewSonic LCD Monitors over the years and this one seemed a bit off in the color & brightness/contrast department. I have a VP2030b which I prefer. The D-SUB & DVI-A/D connectors and height adjustment are handy.
Summary: This monitor is a terrific value if you are looking for a 21" monitor that is not a widescreen style. Contrast, brightness, and viewing angle compares favorably to monitors costing hundreds of dollars more. I have not had any trouble in the first few months I have owned it and I will purchase another one for work. 2 years later the monitor died (would not come on, no light). I sent it in for warranty service since it had a 3-year warranty.
Summary: I purchased 2 Viewsonic LCD monitors and both lasted about a year and a hald before the left side of the screens went dark. No diagnostic queries or interactions could bring them back to normal. I contacted cxustomer support and was told that Viewsonic would do nothing. Maybe I was stupid or naive by not geting a warranty beyond the first year, but I assumed that a good product, made with good parts, from a company that desires to satisfy its customers with a good QA/QC...
