Summary: other than the above mentioned cons; I have been happy with this monitor and its usage for almost a year and would recommend it again.
Pros: lots of ports, flexibility in viewing directions. good quality screen and sharp pixel ratio's. Used in image editing professionally and I find it has good quality for calibration as well. I also like the multimedia functions built in with webcam and microphone
Cons: The microphone built in is super sensitive and pics up every little sound from background. I have not found any software to control this through the monitor. I also recommend additional outside speakers and the built in speakers of this monitor do not have good sound volume or quality.
Monitor and Amazon outstanding! Everybody else involved Yeesh Really?

Summary: Not too happy with the way this item is shipped. To begin with it was not sealed at all with shipping tape. It arrived on the porch upside down by UPS. Judging by the wear/dirt marks it spent most of the time on its back instead of being placed in the upright position like it is clearly marked on...
Summary: I love my ViewSonic monitor. Years ago I had a ViewSonic monitor and also liked it very much. Someone at Best Buy talked me into buying a Westinghouse and it was nothing but trouble .... so I am glad to back with ViewSonic.
not a good option for video conference as advertised

Summary: The monitor itself is OK if you are just using it as a display. but if you want to use the webcam for video conferencing, it falls short. the webcam is not very good quality and the microphone is horrible.

Summary: So, this is obviously only going to have 2 usb ports, and yes they're only USB 2.0, BUT the quality of the picture over Displayport looks fantastic, the speakers are a little quiet, but work, and the microphone and webcam are really quite impressive.
Summary: ViewSonic claims that this product is compatible with Macs, but it's not! Technically, you can use it as a basic monitor but you can't use the webcam, mic, or speakers. I found that out AFTER I bought it and tried to set it up.
