Summary: I bought this one as a match to an existing identical VG2230MW that I've had about 2 years. I like ViewSonic. I've had issues with another monitor (I have 5 various ViewSonics altogether) that they took care of without any problem.
Summary: I have 2 of the ViewSonic VA2226w at present. One is bout 14 month old and the other one about 17 months old. They are both connected to a G5 Mac. One is on the DVI port and the other VGA. They perform well as they are advertised and are very good for the price.
Summary: The monitor was in excellent condition and it is working perectly. The purchase was predicated on past experiences with Viewsonic. The monitor was purchased also because it had speakers included in the unit.
ViewSonic VG2230WM 22" Black Widescreen LCD Monitor

Summary: I bought this monitor to replace an old 19 inch monitor and I am very pleased with the picture quality and the design itself. The only problem is the sound quality which seems a bit muted, but that could be because I've always had nicer speakers on everything I own.
Summary: An excellent monitor at an great price. Display is beautiful; had no problems adjusting Windows XP/SP2 to the correct resolution. It would be nice if the cables were a bit longer. The speakers are so/so, but that wasn't important to me.
Summary: This lcd screen is GREAT if you don't plan on using it for video games. There is slight mouse, keyboard to monitor lag. For example if you click you might not shoot in-game for half a second which isn't a lot but it will seem like it and hurt your game play badly.
Great Monitor (if your video card supports 1680x1050)

Summary: Overall, after using the monitor for about 2 months, I am very pleased with it. So don't take the Con's too seriously. Its just that as I age, I am getting very fussy! Pro's: - Very nice image WHEN resolution is set to the native 1680x1050.
