Summary: This monitor was great. But, 4 months of ownership and the dead pixels are starting. Had to swap out the monitor because our designer couldn't use with the dead pixels. 4 months, give me a break!
Summary: "Refurbished Monitors" The factory-refurbished monitors listed were a disappointment for us. One of three was accepted but with some resolution how many hours used. One monitor was all scratched up! it looked very used. The second monitor opt switches did not worked. In conclusion the cost offset savings ($55-$75) for new monitors was not worth the hassle.
Summary: I bought this one as a match to an existing identical VG2230MW that I've had about 2 years. I like ViewSonic. I've had issues with another monitor (I have 5 various ViewSonics altogether) that they took care of without any problem. I use these monitors for business purposes and have this pair side by side on the same video card. They have good color and sharp letter definition for long term viewing without a lot of eye strain.
Summary: I've had this monitor for about a year and a half (April 2008). Its a huge screen, clear display and a big improvement over the old CRT that I had been using (which probably still is working although I junked it when getting this one). Everything was going great until about a month ago, the monitor would go black for a couple of seconds and then turn back on by itself. It used to be infrequent, but then it started happening every day.
Great Monitor, Poor Customer Service and Product Support

Summary: I purchased this monitor for our business. It is the fourth of these monitors that we purchased. The monitor is great. This last monitor, however, had a problem. The screen was titled due to a manufacturing defect. Well, I called View Sonic to see what they could do about it. They told me that they would replace it with a new monitor. Great, I thought!!! Well, that was almost two months ago and I am still waiting.
