Summary: The monitor I received didn't work at all. I tried with three different computers and nothing ever displayed on the screen, despite being properly connected and all. I guess I got the one monitor that went through Q.A. without being detected as the paper weight it was. I returned it the same day. Something else I noticed is that the software that came with the monitor in a disc (to manage installation, help and whatnot) was really, really old.
Summary: I had to replace an older model monitor and after looking at the options went again with ViewSonic. I wanted built-in speakers, and those are hard to find. I like the stand, the clarity, the size. Perfectly happy.
Summary: I bought this monitor for work and it has served its purpose very well. I connect my Mac laptop to the monitor which makes it easier for me when I'm working on documents and files. I like the fact that you can adjust the base to meet your needs. The swivel motion of the monitor comes in handy. The vertical view of the monitor worked well when I needed to view long spreadsheets. The only issue I've had with it so far is when my computer is on sleep mode.
Summary: This monitor is just about perfect. Beautiful colors and crisp picture. I was using 2 monitors with an extended desktop. This is much better and I have more room on the desk. I always buy View Sonic Monitors, but this one is so much better than my older monitors. I couln't have asked for a better monitor.
Summary: Purchased this monitor to expand a workstation for animation and graphics. Did a lot of research and read a lot of bad reviews for other name brand products, then decided on this ViewSonic based on my experience with ViewSonic years ago. Also have BenQ and Samsung, with Samsung being the most disappointing. Out of the box this monitor is quick and easy to set up and works great. No problems at all.
Summary: Attached Monitor to Laptop and it looks great. No dead pixels. Can rotate screen 180, haven't had a need for it yet, but looks like it could hold two browser windows vertically. Had tried an Acer 22in and the Viewsonic looks and feels like it is made better. I was thinking bigger than 24" might be nice, but going bigger than 24" would now seems it would be too much screen for the eyes if the monitor is on a desk. Nice upgrade, a little pricey, but looks to be a safe bet.
Summary: It has been 8 months since i have bought it, am completely satisfied with it. Screen is Matte , crisp and comfortable to eyes. Built is good. I use it to extend my laptop screen, for coding and movies. It has dvi, vga and usb ports, In-built speakers are useless though, but one shouldn't expect decent speakers on monitors, nevertheless i use studio cans (nothing can beat them). Rotation is nice feature, though i havent used it much, swivel is smooth.
