Summary: I had to replace a 20 year-old radius monitor that finally quit. I first tried a 23" view sonic flat panel, but the image was distorted in the horizontal direction by the cinema display resolution. Because the monitor was used in a CAM system, the horizontal distortion caused round holes to display as elliptical holes, an unacceptable condition. By switching to a smaller monitor, the change in resolution returned the holes to a round appearance, a complete success.
Summary: So glad I ditched the 1-year old 'wide-screen' 21" monitor. Gave it to Goodwill. Super clear and rich colors...right out of the box. Much less scrolling down to see lower portions of the online pages.
