Summary: I got my monitor and fell in love immediately. People were making fun of me - getting a 27" monitor - but since then several of them have followed suit and bought one. This is a great size and the view is perfect. Highly recommend this Amazon Seller.
Summary: This screen would be great if it weren't blurry. I am assuming this is a manufacturer defect, but I haven't been able to get any sort of refund/replacement from both the seller and the manufacturer. I initially assumed that the blurriness was due to calibration issues or that a cord was loose, but whenever I came to the conclusion that it was the device itself, it was past the return date. I'm sure this screen would be great if I got a working one, but I didn't...
Summary: Excellent monitor, had to get a new one because the first one I received was damaged during shipping it only worked for twenty minutes than just went black thanks UPS. Got to love Amazon's customer service it's why I keep coming back. Contacted Customer service and they shipped me a replacement monitor overnight by FedEx one happy customer. Plan on purchasing two more when I upgrade my computer system, use it mainly for flight simulation and college school work.
Summary: Although now discontinued, it is a good monitor. I have 3 for surround view, and they work and look great, and they are huge. I love the vesa mounting option, allowed me to put them on a triple stand. I bought them about a year ago to add to my 2 more monitors that I now use as auxiliary, asus 21", forget the model number, and the colors surprisingly match between them, even though the asus ones are led.
Summary: I've had this for about 2 years now. Yes, it may sound old and out of date but the quality is fantastic. Have not had any problems with it at all. It surfs perfectly. The video quality is superb to me. Great job viewsonic!!
Summary: I've had this for a while now and it's been very enjoyable to use. Started off using it with my Mac, and this experience was pretty flawless. Later used it on my Linux laptop, this took a couple of minor adjustments to get the quality and sharpness of the text that was expected, but it was all done through the control panel on the monitor with no need to look at the manual, all very intuitive.
Summary: I went through a LOT of research before settling on this Viewsonic, and I've been incredibly happy with my choice. The picture quality is great... I have never once looked at it and wished for something better. They are VESA compliant, which is great because I have one of them mounted on a special arm so it can move around. I use the same app all day every day for work, and after a year of use have yet to see any burn in. And they are reasonably priced.
Not terrible, but 1920x1080 doesn't cut it at 24 inches or more.

Summary: 1920x1080 spread across a 27 inches diagonal display is about 82 pixels per square inch. This is pretty dismal compared to the 400+ pixels per inch that the human eye can resolve at 12 inches. For a 27" computer screen, I recommend you shop for a monitor with at least a resolution of 2560x1440, many of which are widely available. That will get you 109 pixels per inch, which will look a whole lot better than 82 will.
Summary: I can't say much about it's color quality and such (I'm red-green deficient), but it's been working without issue since I bought it in September of 2011. (Expect an update if it begins to malfunction in some way.) It has no dead pixels, and it works with my aluminum unibody macbook pro. (Just make sure you get the right connector! I got the wrong one at first from an apple store, but they let me return it for the right one.
