Summary: Well, like the others this monitor blows me away with a Super Clear IPS screen IMO. I agree with other reviewers the HDMI input is missing so I just bought a HDMI to DVI cable at Fry's Electronics, brand is called HMD-6 ( 6' cable) HDMI-Male to DVI-D Male cost about $9.99 there were other brand cable costing $12.99-$29.99 but not need for those expensive ones. I'm using that cable as I write this review.
Excerpt: It's better than I thought it would be. Bought it for office work and the anti-glare screen is excellant. Colors seem fine out of the box, with easy adjustment and many preset options. The stand is ok, but with VESA mounts I will be investing in a better stand anyway. I'm only using VGA right now and it is impressive at 1920x1080. Cons: The control buttons are on the bottom bezel and not that easy to use - 5 buttons hidden from view and not marked well either.
Summary: I love the crisp, clear image on this monitor. The installation was completely plug-and-play--it came with a driver disk, but I didn't need it for my Windows Vista OS. I noticed if drivers are required, they have to be installed manually. That's one drawback. The second, and most major, drawback is, it didn't come with a DVI-D (digital) cable. What the heck is that about. How many people buying this type of monitor would be using a VGA cable?
Summary: I have a 24-inch Asus TN panel LCD monitor that I like just fine, but recently had the opportunity to try out a 23-inch HP Envy IPS monitor. While I liked the display quality of the Envy, I had issues with the stand, lack of DVI input and mounting options. The Viewsonic VA2349S, has been a more enjoyable monitor to use than the HP Envy, because it has DVI and a VESA mount. DISPLAY I like the display of the Viewsonic for what I use it for.
Summary: This Monitor, ViewSonic VA2349s was on Amazon's Daily Deals when I brought it, this monitor are super clear and doesn't have any dead pixel. Very easy to put together, the monitor is up and running in no time. Seriously thinking about buying another ViewSonic, because I am so happy with this monitor.
Good Value: A ViewSonic VA2349S 23-Inch Full HD 1080p Widescreen SuperClear IPS LED-Lit LCD Monitor Review

Summary: As a serious photo-hobbyist, I look for monitors with qualities advantageous for photo editing. A properly color calibrated monitor with the right qualities can provide an image which closely mirrors the color tones found on the printed image. Poor quality monitors can hinder the photo editing process, resulting in image printing frustration.
Summary: Everything about this monitor is exactly as expected. Few minor issues: It appears that it may have built in speakers - not true. I looked at ViewSonic site before buying and it is clear on specs there that it does not have speakers. Same spec should be available or at least linked to Amazon page. This is a brand new product. Not sure why it does not have HDMI connection as an option. I had to purchase DVI- HDMI cable to connect it.
Summary: Bought a couple of these for a new desktop setup. The display is excellent - crisp, clear with no dead pixels. My only minor complaint are the buttons, in particular the power buttons. They are not always easy to use as they sometimes don't make contact when you press them. Clearly a poor part selection when the device was designed.
