Anonymous, Newegg
18 March 2016
  • Summary: Get it while it's hot.
  • Pros: Review based on how far my $ went with this product. It went far and beyond.
  • Cons: Not that I could see except that there are better but more expensive monitors I can buy.

Beatiful display

Kevin P., Newegg
28 February 2016
  • Pros: Picture quality, build quality, overall confidence that you made a solid purchase.
  • Cons: Lack of connectors but honestly, HDMI does basically the same thing only you can transfer audio and data... completely unnecessary for this particular monitor since it lacks speakers or any reason to need the data transfer so no big deal.

Good Buy

Donald K., Newegg
24 November 2015
  • Pros: Outstanding screen clarity. I bought this in mid-June 2015 for $157. It was a good buy then and should be a better buy today. Also has anti-glare coating.
  • Cons: Does not have an adjustable stand. Not a real con at this price point.

Better than tn, far from perfect

Anonymous, Newegg
14 October 2015
  • Pros: The colors are very bright and saturated IPS display so the viewing angles are decent Managed to hit 66hz overclock (not sure if that's really a pro or a con but it allows me to no longer experience screen tearing capping my fps at 60 now rather than using v-sync) Light and easy to move around, p...
  • Cons: The backlight bleed in my personal opinion is atrocious on the display I recieved. The blacks look black, unless you are playing a fullscreen window that has alot of dark scenes there's a ton of backlight bleed. Even with 0% brightness the issue hardly gets improved. The viewing angles are defina...

Monitor Is Awesome

Daniel D., Newegg
1 October 2015
  • Pros: I got this monitor when I built my first computer and it was a great purchase. I have had no problems with it so far. It is nice and wide and great resolution. Good price. 10/10 would buy again.
  • Cons: As someone mentioned before, it does not come with a DVI cable and so it needs to be purchased separately. Not a big con. Just purchase on on new egg for a few bucks.

I would by again

  • Excerpt: I bought 4 of these monitors for investing and browsing. I'm very impressed with the brightness and sharpness. Being LED, there should be some benefit on the electric bill and expected lifespan.

Very nice monitor (4.5/5 Eggs)

Warren T., Newegg
18 February 2015
  • Summary: This is a 5-Egg monitor, if only it had HDMI. If you find it on special, grab it(grab a couple!). You won't regret it.
  • Pros: This screen is beautiful. Running games at 1080p and it's just gorgeous. Viewsonic lives up to their name. I got it on special for around $130, and no regrets.
  • Cons: No HDMI connection; also only comes with VGA cable, so either way, you'll probably have to buy a cable or adapter separately. The stand feels a little cheap and wobbly, but it does the job.

  • Excerpt: Got this for the ips viewing angles. Had a yellowish color I couldn't completely eliminate. Using in a Nvidia surround setup and color was very yellow compared to the other 2 in surround.
