Summary: The color and brilliant resolution of this monitor can't be beat. I do notice that the refresh rate is a bit slow but it's tolerable. The built-in speakers are a waste of time and we set my monitor up with external speakers. Glare was a big issue with my previous 19" Dell and I was able to adjust the new ViewSonic to perfection. It is so much easier on my eyes. Love the potential energy savings too. The stand is very sturdy but height is not adjustable.
Summary: After doing a power audit on various appliances in my home, I discovered I was spending $30 a month to run my monitors. I bought two of these to replace my older monitors. Hooking them up to the watt meter, with the settings for 'eco' mode (eco option checked, auto contrast off), with a light desktop background, they are drawing ~11 watts each. If you turn auto-contrast on, and put a pure black background as your desktop they'll draw around 19 watts.
