Summary: We have about 60 of these. We switched to them after Dell reliability went down the drain. The picture is acceptable and we haven't lost any in over two years (we are a public K-5 elementary school). The things I don't like? It's feels lightweight and flimsy, it seems to confuse users about getting it out of sleep mode. In our case anything inexpensive ($150 or less) that will take the beating things get around here is going to be OK.
Summary: Received this unit in 2 days. This unit replaced my hp which was crap. I've had view sonics in the past and never had a problem with them. I like this one very much. Very bright. Had to tone it down.
Summary: I bought this to replace a 20 year old Sony 20" Trinitron. Actually, I should be writing about the Trinitron more. I paid $1800 for it 20 years ago, but it has been used on so many computers I cannot recall them all. It was still perfect, but dumped it because I was moving and had a hernia, and could not lift it.
Summary: I was looking for a 16:10 monitor in a nice size for computer and work related use, with some gaming on the side. 22 inches is a nice size where I can have multiple windows open on the screen and I can see things a little more clearly with my not so perfect eyesight. The price was a factor too, this monitor was a nice price for a 22 inch. I may mess with the colors some down the road, but they so are good right out of the box, I haven't even thought about it yet.
Summary: This is the nieces monitor I have ever had. The images are very sharp and clear. You will be able to do fine graphic work on this monitor. The controls at the bottom of the monitor are simple to use. It has a pleasing look overall. It's a shiny black. It's a 20"; which makes watching movies a dream. I highly recommend this monitor. I've had it about a month and it's doing every thing I could as of a monitor. I think this monitor will last many years to come.
