Summary: Just saying Thank You to Low Price TextBooks for the order. If Any of You ever have a chance to get this monitor get It because It has the best color of any LCD (Not as good a CRT) monitor I have seen and last for years and years.
Summary: I had this monitor for 3 years. Worked fine until a day ago when it started going to sleep after 5 minutes. Then after 4 minutes then three. Now it only stays on for 2 seconds then goes to sleep. I would not recommend this monitor.
Summary: First impressions are great for this monitor. We have had it for a couple of days, and had a Viewsonic CRT before that lasted > 8 years with hours/day usage. Compared to the Dell I use at work, the Viewsonic is superior based on sharpness and color. I would recommend.

Summary: Tech speak aside, this is a fantastic widescreen monitor at an excellent price (got mine for $200 flat). I had no dead pixels and no washed out areas. Granted, there is no gaming going on here, but i do watch movies from Netflix and NBC episodes and have been very impressed with the quality.
Summary: My first flat screen monitor. After years of a 17" CRT this monitor is impressive. Very clear, easy to read text, with bright colors. It worked right out of the box. I'm very satisified with both the price and performance.
Summary: Purchased the ViewSonic because I have had excellent results with their professional series. First impression, out of the box, is that it is a nice unit with a smaller footprint than the pro series.
Summary: I have my Xbox 360 elite HDMI hooked up with a DVI converter as well as an optical output to my 5.1 surround sound system. My TV just gave out right after I bought this, so it is nice to play games at 1920x1080, REALLY nice. Shipping was flawless, Bill Me Later was great.
