The positive part are the monitor is nice and wide and easy on your eyes
2 weeks ago
Summary: The positive part are the monitor is nice and wide and easy on your eyes. I previously had a VewSonic so I thought stick with a winner. My old one also had built in speakers but more on that later. Setup was basically plug and play. Now here is what I found not good, I paid extra for the model with the built in speakers. The speakers make sound and function but the quality of the sound is like a "TIN CAN".
Summary: What can I say, the image is crisp and clear when hooked up via dvi port. You'll have to buy that seperate, but theyre cheap online. Although navigating the menu is pretty awkward, this monitor is pretty nice. Would recommend to anyone...
Summary: Arrived very quickly. Within 10 minutes I had the stand attached, the monitor connected, and dual monitors setup on my computer. I should have purchased the monitor long ago because everything is has made it so much clearer and easier to see what I'm doing. I can tell that the eye strain issues I have been struggling with will, thankfully, be a thing of the past.
Summary: Purchased this monitor recently for my desktop computer system. Came to me in two days..on a Sunday. The monitor was packaged well and there was no shipping damage at all...Unpacked the unit and installed it into my system. Monitor worked perfectly from the start and there's been no problem since....I recommend this monitor for anyone who just needs a 20 inch display.
Summary: Keeps displaying a warning message that you're not using full resolution (I like 1024x768), and to press either 1 or 2, 2 to disable the message. Pressing 2 does absolutely nothing, every time you turn the screen on you get that message. Quite annoying.....
Summary: Purchased this monitor because of value (high positive ratings and low price). Monitor stopped functioning properly just 2 weeks after the 30-day return window on Amazon closed. Now I have to go through the hassle of getting a RMA and paying to ship it to ViewSonic, then waiting until they decide to repair or replace it, while I go without a monitor.
Summary: Colors are great and the picture is sharp. Speakers work, but they are only 2 amp and are located on the back of the monitor, so it's really hard for my kids to hear their movies. Buttons are easy to find, there is no volume button on the monitor itself though, you have to adjust that on your desktop. :( Otherwise it'd be 5 stars. If you want sound you can hear from the other end of the house, get additional speakers...
Summary: Great monitor! We purchased 17 total and did not have one issue with any of them. Most were used in dual quad monitor setups and triple monitor computer setup displays. Nice bright and clear colors!
Nice picture but a little flimsy. We had to loosen a lock nut so it could tilt

Summary: This is a simple and inexpensive monitor - no USB ports - just a basic monitor. I like the "green" aspect of it. The picture seems to be rather good. I just got this monitor, so I cannot say how long it will last, but it has some rather flimsy plastic parts. Some of the questions people asked about this was whether the monitor tilted, swiveled or moved up/down. All it does is tilt. Some people say it doesn't, and I can see why.
