Pros: Purchased this as a second screen for my Linux (Ubuntu) workstation, so I wanted to get the same model as the original one. Crisp and good refresh for my work (I don't do games, so I don't know how that is). Using DVI for one monitor and D-Sub for the second one and it works just fine. The color/...
Cons: Have to figure out how to shut down the stupid OSD if you don't run it in 1440x960 mode. At least they made it possible on this model from the menu. Speakers are not worth anything.
Summary: Had I known the level of "customer service" ViewSonic had before I bought this, I would have moved to a different brand. Buyer beware.
Pros: The monitor has an amazing picture quality with very smooth movement and little to no ghosting.
Cons: The sound quality from the speakers is junk at best. Also, after 18 months, the monitor has started blacking out randomly. It does not lose power, it simply blacksout. You must power cycle the monitor several times to get it working again. Repair is done via RMA with ViewSonic and takes approxima...
Pros: You're paying like fifty dollars for the stand alone, but it's worth it. It's quite stable, and can be adjusted to suit any sitting position, which is probably the best thing about this monitor.
Cons: For whatever reason there is no option to change the vertical stretch of the screen. You can change the position vertically and horizontally, and you can adjust the horizontal stretch, but the option to change the vertical just doesn't exist.
Summary: I originally wanted to buy the VA1912wb, but found out that it was about to be discontinued. Needless to say, I bought this model instead, the VA1930wm and I'm glad I did. The built quality on this monitor is a solid 10+, the base of the monitor is very sturdy and just heavy enough where it will not...
Summary: the picture is great! the look is great!... but if your going to put speakers into it... put some in it!... jeez from the outside they look like speakers but honesly they sound like little tiny things.
Summary: I originally bought this for work as a 2nd monitor, but have since brought it home and put it on one of the kids computers. I've been very happy with Viewsonic and am amazed the very first 19" I bought many years ago cost as much as a 52" TV now.
Summary: I've had this monitor for over 2 years and it works great! The color is crisp, bright and I've never had a problem with it. The best part of this VA1930wm ViewSonic monitor is the speaker at the bottom of the monitor. My kids love to play games and the speaker works great.
The color reproduction is rather poor in my opinion

Summary: I have owned this monitor for many years. It has been very reliable. The color reproduction is rather poor in my opinion. The sound quality from the speakers is acceptable for games but certainly not for music or even youtube.
