Summary: I'm using the touch screen with Mac OS X v. 10.6.8 and it works very well. The screen is about 1 inch narrower than my computer screen, but a small price to pay for the convenience. I don't use all the functions of the touch screen, but is is very helpful for my arthritis/carpel tunnel or whatever affects my fingers. I read that 'they' found out that one of the unforeseen disadvantages of the touch screen was that the users' arms got tired. Imagine that!

Summary: I absolutely love this monitor as a desktop monitor for Windows 8.1. I have a brain injury which causes me many eye problems, and being able to use my finger as the mouse on the screen is not only great therapy, its a practical time saver and quick and easy. the sound is good, the tactile is excellent, and setting up was so easy. There are three cords.

Summary: This monitor would have gotten 5 stars if I could use Adobe Photoshop elements with it. It's compatible with some photo editing and art programs such as Paint.Net, Manga Labo and Corel's Paint Shop Pro, but doesn't work with Photoshop Elements. As a result, I still must use my little wacom tablet when I want to use PE. Hopefully, someone will introduce a touch screen that's compatible with it....
Summary: My child has Autism along with mild CP. This touch screen has opened up a whole new world of educational and entertainment opportunity for my 6 year old little angel. Thanks for the flawless order and awesome product!
Summary: I set this monitor up, of my 3 monitors: ASUS VS228 (not Touchscreen), Planar PX2230MW (touchscreen), and this one (touchscreen), This is by far the nicest. Pro: Very crisp, clear and bright screen! for built in monitor speakers, very good. very easy to setup touch is very responsive easy to read text on it.
Summary: First it is only Windows 8 compatible, but not certified. There is a big difference between the two and you do not get the 5 point touch contact that really is needed for Windows 8. Also, it does not have a space between the frame and the actual screen so it is very difficult to get the proper swipe functions that you use in Windows 8. This was returned because of it's lack of functionality.
Calibrate the Screen in Windows 8 and it works great

Summary: I've seen a number of reviews complaining about the inability to get gestures working on the edges of this monitor in Windows 8. I had the same problem, for example getting the "charms" bar to appear when swiping in from the right. The solution is to calibrate the touchscreen display in the control panel and then it works fine. Windows 8 is still a challenge for those of us used to mouse-and-keyboard, but that's a problem with the OS, not this touchscreen product.
