Summary: This monitor has an excellent physical appearance; It looks great! The performance however is what is important, and this monitor presents a superior display. I have two of them; one for me, one for the spouse. When her LG monitor "died" unexpectedly, I went to eBay looking specifically for a V7. The first one I have had for about 10 months and it has performed flawlessly. Well worth the $$$.
Summary: Theres nothing bad, about this monitor. I love it alot and I think I made a great choice, choosing this monitor. It was for a great price to. The color and the fact of being so clear, makes any picture look really good.
Summary: Its got a very nice picture and big! I love it. Only thing I dislike about it, is that the speakers dont sound very good at all. You will have to get external speakers to get good sound, but thats small detail. There was one dead pixel on the right side of the screen, but you can only see it when that area is black. Its visible. Overall for the price I paid it wasnt to bad. Hope I helped on your decision.
Pros: Great Price. Average to good image quality for the money (not excellent, but definitely a decent image for a monitor of this price). It is one of the cheapest 22" monitors. (You can find it for around $150)
Cons: The monitor had 3 dead pixels in the very center of the screen straight out of the box!! It was very noticable the first time i turned it on. Monitor looks cheap...thin cheap stand w/ cheap looking plasitic. Not very bright. Not enough contrast.
Summary: the quality of the monitor is just a tad bit better than the older lcd screens (the big box types) but due to the price... i rate it overall as GOOD. for a 170 NIB you cant beat it. I also have a hp w2207 and the quality of the pictures is phenomenal, however it also came with a 400 dollar price tag. Good product if you can pick up the 22" wide monitor for under 200 dollars.
Summary: First time owning an LCD. The screen is brilliant, and it's like working in a whole new world! It hooked up easily, and Windows Vista did the setup automatically. We purchased this for our business (we sell photographs and photo-manipulations) and it's definitely been a bonus. Previously worked on a standard 17" CRT, and this has made all the difference in the world.
