Summary: I've traveled all over the world with this monitor and it's been great companion to my MacBook Air mobile office. It's sturdy and weighs as weighs as my 13" macbook air. The resolution isn't comparable to the Macbook air, but it works as a second monitor.
Summary: The software that came with the monitor was not compatible with Windows 8 or 8.1, but updated software is available for free on-line. It took a little while to load, but it works great. Easy to pack and travel in the same bag as my laptop.

Summary: Really handy for work that simply won't fit in my laptop screen. Excellent for when you have to do a lot of copy (from one application or document) then paste (into another application or document). Light and small enough to fit in my backpack with my laptop and travel everywhere I do my work.
Summary: I bought this because I needed another monitor while I was traveling for work. I did some research before hand to figure out which monitor I wanted. I needed a few different things: 1) no power cord required 2) has some sort of case around it 3) was at least 14 inches 4) Light weight.
Wonderful Monitor that shines with external power supply

Summary: This is such a great product. I downloaded the driver for my MacBook Pro from the DisplayLink's website and then connected the monitor with the provided USB cable that is over 2 feet long. The monitor is recognized after a few seconds and the display is flawless.
Summary: Pros and Cons of this monitor, so you can make an informed purchase: PROS: - Light and thin, fits easily in any pc bag. - Case is attached to the monitor, makes it easy to handle, safe stand and protect while traveling.
Summary: The first monitor was DOA so I was a bit concerned, the second one has worked fine. I held off on reviewing for a while to see how the monitor held up and so far so good. I'm a software consultant and find myself at 2-3 different locations a week so this thing gets around, I carry it in my backpack...
Summary: There wasn't much documentation as to whether this screen would work with the Mac Mini, but ultimately I found it would. It works great with only one USB cable (it comes with a short Y USB cable with two USB 2 cables on one side and one miniUSB on the other).
