Summary: Going from a 15" flat screen, this was almost shocking. The HDMI connection gives superior clarity and the size and resolution reduce the strain of working at a computer all day dramatically. I have nothing bad I could say about this monitor.
Summary: This Toshiba display is of typical Toshiba quality...very good! The stand and bezel are reasonably sturdy. The base does sit low on your desk...I wouldn't mind if it were a couple inches taller but who cares really. Picture quality is excellent...typical LED in that the colors lean towards the cooler side which I prefer. Contrast and brightness settings go higher than I need (years past you would always be looking for more than a given display could provide).
Summary: Out of the box this monitor wouldn't power up. I verified that the power converter was delivering power to the cable tip, but nothing on the monitor itself. That's when the real nightmares began. Seller (not an Amazon seller) says it's the manufacturer's issue. Manufacturer doesn't list the item on their website, so you can't even register a warranty claim. A call to the customer service number got me twenty minutes on hold before it unceremoniously disconnected me.
Summary: I bought two of this monitor about half a year ago, and now I am ready to give it a review. Basically, I have some eye issues, and as a result, I am very selective regarding the type of monitors that I use. I have tried many different brands, HP, Dell... and this monitor works for my eyes the best.
Summary: Does not rate even 1 star. Toshiba could not find the part no or sn for a monitor sold on Sept 26 2011 dlvd on Sept 30 failed 4 weeks later. Support could not find the item in their database and would not give me a rep or address to return it to. They did direct me to 5 different depts. Turns out it was new old stock built Oct 2010 and sold in Australia. I thru it out. Will not buy another toshiba product and I was a big fan of their laptops.
