  • Summary: For those who complain about recption problems get the right antenna for your area I live in the country half way between 2 citys I use a pair of winegard GS220's in atic mount one pointed at each city and combine the signals from both into my distribution amp.
  • Pros: I have bought 4 of these to date, primary purpose was to monitor security cameras, I use a Channel Plus 4 channel modulator to asign my cameras to unused TV channels and combine them with my antenna feed that then feeds into a channel master distribution amp. this permits camera montoring from an...
  • Cons: A/V adaptor cable would have been nice, I need 2 more of these hopefully New Egg will get more in stock and put them on sale again

  • Summary: I have another one of these monitors, but it costs a few $ more, but after adding the other items I spent more for this one. huh....
  • Pros: Pretty good picture.
  • Cons: Rechargeable battery is optional. Also you have to use the remote to change to the video input. No A/V mini-plug cable.

Think twice...

Ken G., Newegg
5 January 2010
  • Summary: Live in the Seattle area and not completely sure if the signal is affected by terrain or unit is junk. Buyer beware!
  • Pros: Looked like a good concept. Wanted a small TV for watching outside on a deck.
  • Cons: Have yet to receive one station. Kind of a lousy Christmas present

Love this tiny tv!

Amanda L., Newegg
30 September 2009
  • Pros: While it may not be perfect when using the antenna, for my use it's absolutely perfect. I have it hooked up to cable in a small area of my desk and it's everything I hoped for. I love it so much I'm purchasing another as a back up.
  • Cons: none

User Review

John D., Newegg
26 July 2009
  • Summary: Look for something else.
  • Pros: small size
  • Cons: 1) whip antenna does not pick up digital signals for me. House rooftop antanna works with signal amp. If you planning on getting it to work in the car, FORGET IT. 2) audio lags video by about 1/2 a second. 3) supersonic (rep in america) is a joke. I called asking for the pin out for the av connec...

Piece of junk

Paul W., Newegg
21 July 2009
  • Summary: Got this TV for my aunt so she could watch it in her kitchen. What a mistake! After (finally) getting it to come out of standby mode, was unable to auto scan stations. Also, picture was so bright that I had to view the screen at an extreme acute angle to see the setup menu.
  • Pros: Sleek design, configurable antenna
  • Cons: Confusing controls, too bright, couldn't auto scan stations.

Update to... Nice Picture but.

William L., Newegg
15 July 2009
  • Summary: The stick antenna that comes withe the unit is inadequate. If you want all the stations in your area then I suggest a rooftop antenna and run coax down to the TV. This will probably become a bathroom TV as it is not at all suited for a moving car.
  • Pros: If the unit is stationary then the picture is great. I really like the large and easy to use buttons on the front of the unit. Nice picture and plenty of easy to use settings.
  • Cons: Apparently to receive a digital signal, the TV must remain stationary. Putting it in a car and driving absolutely kills reception. It has something to do with the way digital vs analog broadcast methods. Think of a digital signal passing your antenna as a constant stream that is decoded into a pi...

Nice picture, but....

William L., Newegg
14 July 2009
  • Summary: I bought this for use in my car and I have great hopes for it. If it is connected to a large rooftop antenna, the picture is beautiful and all channels are found by the tuner. If I can not add a roof top antenna to my car and get a picture that is at least passable, then for my purposes this is just...
  • Pros: Large buttons on the face of the unit for menu, volume, etc. For a portable unit, the screen is nice and large and the picture is nice looking. Good sized remote, not micro sized to match the unit like some small tv's. My fingers can actually touch a single button at one time. The TV is nice and ...
  • Cons: No car mount included (although it comes with a car electrical adapter) and without taking the case apart I do not see how to add one. I will open the case and drill holes to accommodate a car mount once the warranty has expired. The biggest problem is the tuner. Unless you are standing out in th...

Why and How?

James S., Newegg
18 June 2009
  • Summary: wonder how many people will not order this TV based on a quick 2 star glance?....Now the older analog portable TV's that no longer work, we need these devices with the newer digital tuners...I would buy it...
  • Pros: How can the Fisrt Reviewer review a product they havnt received yet??????? How can anyone make an informed decession based on his/her biased review of a product before receiving it????? and Now I assume they have the product in hand by now, but no follow up review????
  • Cons: Review what you have in your hand, not what you FORGOT to read or what you overlooked!!!
