Summary: I own the 22 inch version of this monitor, after first year, the DVI connection give up, after 2 year, you can not turn it on any more. Unless you plan to use this monitor only for 2 years, forget about buying it.
Summary: Great monitor, love the sleek lines and beautiful picture quality. I would recommend this monitor to anyone who loves to play online games, watch movies or just have a great picture to look at.

Summary: The DVI connection on this monitor is very poor. When connected to a PC using a 15ft HDMI cable and HDMI->DVI adapter, the monitor would lose the digital signal every 10 seconds on average, and every time anything moved on the screen. When adding an HDMI switch, it was even worse.
Summary: I bought it at MicroCenter in Columbus, OH. The first one had a defective pixel resulting in a bright red dot center right. I took it right back and exchanged it. The next one was OK. I used the DVI cable that came with the unit, and set up was easy, following the easy set up steps.
Summary: Don't have enough money to buy a brand new popular monitor? Well I didn't know about Sceptre brand before but I'm really enjoying my 24 inches LCD monitor, is bigger than I though and has a great contrast, It can be plugged with a DVI-HDMI cable to get full 1080p and off course its maximum...
Summary: The product description says "VGA, DVI, HDMI" which led me to believe this had three ports. What arrived is a VGA/DVI monitor and the manual says HDMI is optional and the product listing on tigerdirect.com says it is only VGA/DVI and staring closely at the title on this page I see 'DVI-D, VGA'.
Summary: Bought this for office and engineering graphics use, not for video viewing or gaming. For this application it looks GREAT. Lots of pixels on the screen, looks crisp in DVI mode (VGA mode was a bit fuzzy), contrast and brightness are good. Big screen really improved my productivity.
Summary: I bought two of these 6 months ago. No dead pixels on either one, and they seem to be functioning just fine thus far. Negatives: The cables are a bit thin, the stand is a bit wobbly, and the speakers sound so bad they shouldn't be plugged in.
It is highly unfortunate we cannot give 0 star ratings...

Summary: because this deserves it. I bought one of these, after my DCLCD (a company sceptre owns) 20.1" monitor died. Well, it didn't so much die, the VGA input stopped working after one year. No biggie, I got it at a huge discount and sold it to someone who didn't care about the VGA.
Summary: Please ignore the previous review of Tiger Direct's customer service. The monitor itself is fine. Looks great, really. I've been working with one side-by-side with a Dell 2407 every day for the last 6 months and, with proper setup, they look nearly the same.
