Broken monitor and Samsung customer support is unable to provide me with a reasonable fix

Summary: I bought this monitor a couple of months ago but did not have the time to set it up until more recently. When I finally set it up I really liked the picture quality. However, a couple of times a week the monitor seems to go into some sort of sleep state and is simply unresponsive. I cannot wake it up unless I unplug the power cable.
Unit requires return to manufacturer to fix "sleep" issue with UHD.

Summary: For setups that utilize the Display Port cable and have video cards that can support UHD, there is an issue with the monitor not "waking up" after going to sleep due to a period of non-use or from on-demand sleep functions issued to the computer. The only work around is to unplug the monitor and plug it back in, which forces the monitor to reset its display port input and "wake up." This is completely unacceptable.
Summary: LU28D590DS/ZA is the USA model unit!!! YOu can call Samsung 24/7 to get service and any other concerns you may have. The unit shown here for sale is NOT a USA model and Samsung Tech Support CAN NOT help you in any form or fashion! The model LU28D590DS/KR is the KOREAN unit!! Please call 1-800-Samsung for help on ANY product!!
Summary: First and foremost, the monitor was defective out of the box. While it did power on and display the 4K image from my MacPro, there was a 1" wide band of 'image ghosting' down the entire right side of the panel. All other resolutions worked fine, just not the 4K. Thus, it's going back to Amazon. The monitor itself was very bright, make sure you calibrate it, and take it off of 'showroom bright' mode The stand is terrible and the monitor does NOT support a VESA mount.
Summary: And not just vertically , but horizontally too. Even sitting directly in front of the monitor, there is enough of an angle between your eyes and the edges that what is white in the center of the screen looks orange at the far edges of the screen also the stand offers basically zero adjustments, you can tilt it back SLIGHTLY, and thats it, there is no vertical adjustment at all. i ended up returning it as it was simply awful.
Summary: I have had such difficulty with Amazon recently. In the past I have never usually had a problem with amazon but my last (fairly high value) orders have been a nightmare. This has been no exception. I pre-ordered this monitor a few weeks ago, and at the time it stated that this monitor was to be released on the 1st of May.
Summary: Ad showed due 1 may never get in stock simple lie customers clearly. Lost reputation for me. Just found proof: OcUK will be the first in the UK to get official UK version of this monitor by upto nearly a month. We are expecting our delivery the last week of May. None of our competitors will get stock until mid-end of June as we have an exclusive arrangement with Samsung.
Excerpt: Inte nog med att skärmen är fixerad i det jängliga stativet, det lutar dessutom lätt bakåt !! Jag som sitter skönt bakåtlutad vill ha skärmen vinklad snett nedåt - inte uppåt ! Inte heller går skärmen att juster i höjdled eller att vrida. Tyvärr gör detta att skärmen helt går bort för mig. Har inget att säga om övrig funktionalitet, som säkert är bra.
