Pros: Easy to program. Picture is clear for both TV and PC use. The auto program mode works great for both cable & broadcast. Power consumption is low and it shuts itself off automatically if your PC goes into hibernation.
Cons: No picture in a picture. Sound is a bit weak.
Summary: I use this for a TV and a PC monitor.Well worth the money.. it has a great picture in either mode. I am impressed and very happy... If you want the best of both worlds for you PC or TV I recommend thsi product.
Summary: Purchased this as a replacement PC and Xbox 360 monitor. PC picture is amazing using a DVI > HDMI connector. Xbox picture is terrible. After searching the internet for possible fixes, using each of the HDMI ports, different HDMI cables, Component cable and a multitude of different settings, the picture is just horrible when playing a game (the Xbox dash is fine) - jagged edges and very dark.
Summary: we are using this in our medical office for an expanded display connected to computers so that we can show important information to our patients. it works really well and helps them have a clearer concept of the treatment.
Summary: I bought this to use as a computer monitor and even after going an spending $50 on cables to convert it, it failed to deliver. I had to use this as my TV for the bedroom, which is way smaller then my old one, and moved the 32' TV from the bedroom to my office. This TV did not have a VGA connection and that was very inconvenient. Good picture but lacked in the area of delivering to be a universal piece of technology.
Summary: First and formost: I purchased this monitor refurbished at the price of $200 from ebay. I absolutely love this monitor. The picture quality is amazing (recently found the advantages of game mode,) it is incredibly thin, and samsung quality ceases to amaze me. The bezel on this monitor is very slim and nice, I despise large bezels. The major disadvantages of this monitor are as previously stated: no audio out, and the speakers are terrible.
Summary: Bought a refurb, which arrived in a generic oversized box but in excellent condition. Reviewers are right that the sound is tinny, but that is the norm for this type of display generally. Slimness has its trade-offs. My workaround was running the sound directly from the TW cable box and a blu-ray to a Zvox Mini I already owned. Other than the neccesity of another remote, works fine. Solid image quality with a decent viewing angle.
You get what you pay for and this one is worth it.

Summary: Great HD monitor (and TV) - right size for typical office applications. You pay almost as much for this 27" as a cheap 32" but the 32's were too big, 24's too small and you get what you pay for. Great Samsung quality, color, contrast, response time, and user interface features. The only complaint is that the OEM stand does NOT tilt, so I married the monitor with a Sanus articulating arm for the perfect install - really frees up desk space - looks killer - nice and clean.
