Best Monitor Ever - Unfortunate that this resolution has been discontinued.
8 July 2013
Summary: I love this monitor. This is my second purchase - the first one purchased quite a while ago still works fine. I vastly prefer this resolution for my work. Since new monitors aren't offered with this resolution anymore I purchased this for a secondary system backup.
Summary: This monitor rocks! I hate to sell it, but need money today. I copied and pasted another person's review below. I found many many reviews for this, and you will be pleased. I bought this monitor in the last week and own a few other LCD's around the house even very expensive top end sony bravia xbr's. I have to say this is up there with my new favorite LCD's in the house. Looks: The housing (screen bezel) on this monitor is stunning in design.
Summary: I bought this monitor for my wife's computer. It is a great monitor. The picture is bright and very sharp. The set up was easy, and every thing worked first time. A great product at a good price.
Summary: The only major concern I have with this monitor (and it is a big one) after two months of use is the poor viewing angle. If for example, you have a full field of view photo and you move your eye level up or down several inches there will be a striking degredation of image quality. This is because you are paying for a low cost TN pannel. You can partially compensate by incrasing the viewing distance.
Summary: This product is just marvelous. Some have complained of questionable stability because of the stand. I find no such problem, and I hit the desk many times a day as I swing from desk to computer table in my home office. The resolution is excellent, and the size a delight to enjoy. I particularly like the dimensions of the actual screen (13.5 inches high by 21.75 wide). The frame is a bit larger than I would make it, but that's not an issue; it's quite nice looking.
Summary: Purchased this 26 inch TV after buying the 55 inch LCD Samsung locally in September. Picture not as good as cracked up to be. Does not match my 32 inch Sylvania given same specs!! Works ok for the kitchen viewing 8 feet away. Tried the HDMI + component + TV "F" connector (RF) not really much diff. Speakers rather tinny but to be expected. Average at best overall.
Summary: Usually hybrid doesn't work very well. I tried two so called hybrid LCD before, one 42" Samsung and another 28" i-Inc. Both are very good TV, but neither are good computer monitor. When connected, the screen is just not sharp, black words become purplish, edge become fuzzy. I ended up returning the i-Inc and kept the Samsung purly for watching TV. But this little one gave me a pleasant surprise. It's the same sharp as a real computer monitor.
