Summary: I read all of the reviews before I bought it and compared specs and prices. I unfortunatly discovered there are some things you cant find-out on-line. I use it as a bedroom TV not a computer monitor, which I now believe was likely it's primary design.
Summary: I don't know about you, I am not technologically savvy, but when I started shopping for a monitor that could pull double duty, I dug deep. I started reading articles on the web and on PC magazines that said "this brand is better then that...
Summary: Using the T240HD as a computer monitor. Looks great. My only problem is that I have another Samsung TV in the room. Every time I use the other remote to turn of the TV the monitor turns off too. I cant find the remote sensor on the monitor to block it. Its like the whole monitor is a remote sensor.
Summary: This monitor is the greatest thing I have ever bought. I am using it as my primary monitor and with its 1920x1200 resolution it's even better resolution that full 1080p HD. I also use it with my XBOX 360 and PS3 and it looks AMAZING!
Summary: Overall the product works as advertised it is a nice monitor that seems to do the job of being a nice large 24". The extra pixels for resolution is also pretty nice. My only real complaint is with the TV mode. It just seems a bit granier than my panasonic 50" HDTV.
Summary: BOTTOM LINE: buy it: - not the cheapest - but you got both a TV (1080p) and Monitor (more than 1080p, and 16x10, not 16x9, hence better for PC use according to others - though I have no experience using 16x9 for PC so cannot really tell) - sound quality pretty good (for me, who rarely watch TV, very...
Summary: I had been searching for a 1920x1200 resolution 24 inch monitor for under $300 for awhile. After a so-so experience with Dell refurbished monitors, I decided to try Amazon, since at least I could return the monitor easily if I had a problem. Well, I've had no issues.
Summary: I purchased a refurbished unit of the T240HD as part of a new computer Christmas present for my dad and he is very happy with the improvement from his six and a half year old 15" Dell Ultrasharp LCD. The quality of the screen is good but not enough to win any awards.
Summary: Overall, this is a good value for a TV of its size. The only caveat is that viewing angles on this unit (and for TN panels in general) can be limited. Specifically, the TV sits on top of a dresser about six inches above eye level when laying down in bed.
Summary: I mainly use this Samsung as a TV. It fits on my breakfast room countertop nicely. I can watch it from both the breakfast room and from the kitchen. Picture is very clear in High Definition and set up is very easy to use. Sound is very clear.
