How can a screen that received a single star in ergonomics finish with such a good final score? Because it renders colors so well, has a stylish design and is particularly reactive. And these are often the most important characteristics for a monitor. Read more

Black color is mainly uniform on every part of the screen and minimum breaching of back light is localized along the top edge of panel. It’s our wish that the black color of the display is little bit darker on default settings, but we don’t find that as a fault because of exceptional screen brightness. Picture on this monitor just glitters without any “dirty” tricks. Contrast and color dynamics are uniform so it’s on the user to choose if he will use factory... Read more

The bottom line: The Samsung T220 might be the most stylish LCD monitor we've seen, but average feature set and performance diminish its overall appeal. Despite its flashy looks, it's best used as a simple, productivity display. Read more

  1. Worst stand ever made for a monitor

Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: less than 1 day This user purchased this item from Newegg Pros: I'm sure they exist, but I have no intention of finding out after assembly. Cons: While setting this monitor up (I bought 3 for the office in my house) I felt like I was experiencing a bout of vertigo with the intense wobble this stand has. If you aren't mounting this monitor, do not buy it. They are going back to new... Read more

I gave this a 9 instead of a 10 because of the price and the monitor does not tilt downwards as far as i would like which makes it hard to see sometimes. Great design and by far the best monitor i have ever owned. Read more

I don't know if CNET reviewed the right model. My monitor clearly has SyncMaster T220 and 20000:1 contrast ration printed on the bezel, yet CNET says its 1,000:1 this is a huge discrepancy. Bottom line, price isn't bad and if you like deep vibrant colors you will definitely love this display. It's great for movies, gaming and just web surfing. The design will bring touch of color & elegance to your desk as well. Read more

I chose this monitor for it's clarity and sharpness, since I do vector graphics. Lines look great. I've had it for just over a year. The last 3 or 4 months, it's developed a noticable graduated shadow from the top down, and the colors also graduate from the top down with a distict greenish tint. I bought a new video card and a color calibration device, to try to get the color accuracy and contrast back, but am unable to do so. I work with graphics. Colors and contrast... Read more

I have had this TV for a month and the performance is good. The picture is clear and the HD resolution is good. The remote works well although it is a little big. The on-screen menus are clear and not confusing. I would highly recommend this to anyone and my friend just bought one after seeing the performance of mine. Read more
