NEED TO INSTALL MAGIC ROTATE AUTO
30 August 2013
Summary: NEED TO INSTALL MAGIC ROTATE AUTO I got it for 299 at Best buy but it works great and with magic rotate auto (not magic rotate)on ur PC and enjoy... Are there better monitor sure and it needs the right wires to connect but looks great and works great
Summary: This a solid buy at $300. I don't know that there's a better 27" on the market. The stand raises the bottom of the bezel 6" off the desktop. It take a little getting used to but really isn't a big deal. This is of course designed to provide enough clearance in order to swivel the screen 90* to portrait mode. The buttons are well marked and are physical buttons instead of the touch-sensitive style from the past.
Good Monitor, but doesn't work for Macs in portrait
6 July 2013
Summary: Why is it that companies like Samsung still think that nobody out there owns a Mac, when Mac laptops have 15% of the market? This is a nice monitor, but it was only AFTER I bought it that its fantastic swivel-to-portrait mode for the monitor is not (as far as I can tell after lots of effort) on mac computers. If you go to Samsung's site for some answers, you'll be confronted with zero info about Mac support, or any drivers of downloads that will help you.
Summary: Monitor sent UPS signature required by Legend micro, arrived undamaged with no visible defects(refurb). Beautiful MVA panel with very dark blacks, decent but not overly saturated colors and no visible ghosting. easily overclocks to 72hz for excellent video playback. Only con is unadjustable metal stand. monitor only rotates to portrait view or tilts, does not adjust up or down. May be a bit high for some, I have it on a lowered display stand.
Summary: I purchased the Samsung C750 LED 27" Monitor for it's duality. I am able to use as an "oversized" screen while using my computer as well as for watching TV. The only drawback that the sales person did not mention was this monitor is not equipped with speakers, so I had to buy a soundbar. For the price I would have preferred something already equipped for sound.
Summary: After going thru 3 LG monitors i decided to give this a try, this monitor is perfect.pictures are crisp and clear i love the magic bright presets on it easy to use i like how you hide all our cables inside the tube like cylinder, beautiful design and even better picture quality.minimal light bleed HUGE plus, dark rich bright colors. I will buy and recommend a samsung product again.
Summary: I have bought this monitor 2 weeks ago and I am still trying to make it work with my Mac Book Pro. Best Buy doesn t help. It is unbelivable! I am Very Desapointed with Best Buy stores and Sansung monitors. Somebody can help ?
Summary: Bought this monitor for the Pivot and Tilt, size and the advertisement of 120hz for the refresh rate. I have tested the 27inch HP IPS, the 27inch LG IPS and the S27C750P. The samsung blows away the other two is regards to picture quality versus resolution for a 27inch not sporting 2560x1440. This monitor does not disappoint, the pivot and tilt feature is really nice for pictures and office work.
Pros: best picture you can get for a 27 inch at 1920x1080
Summary: Bought this for an intense writing project that I'll be spending the next few weeks on. I bought an "open box" one at my local Best Buy and I'm now seeing why someone else returned it. I've spent hours now trying to get the text to be readable. In Windows 8, there are tons of ClearType, refresh rate, and text size options. Nothing helps. Resolution set to native 1920 by 1080 (although I also tried every other setting), refresh rate 60 (although I've also tried 59).
Summary: This is going back to the store. The image is very grainy. I've made sure the drivers are installed right and played with all the settings. I should say that I also have a Thunderbolt but I am not expecting that quality from this monitor. I also have a HP VGA (1920x1080) monitor that looks better than this Samsung. The price was good ($299) but I'd rather spend a couple of hundred more and get better image quality.
