Summary: I really like this monitor a lot. The picture and color is super sharp, and I like how tall the neck goes (I'm tall in the torso). It rotates too. It's a terrific monitor, and I highly recommend it.
Summary: We're in the process of adding a 3rd display for a server status dashboard where portrait orientation is ideal. We wanted a display that matched pretty closely to our existing units (that do not swivel to portrait) and this fit the specs and budget perfectly. Don't worry about the TN panel.
Pros: It's a 1080p display in a fairly compact unit. The swivel to portrait orientation was a selling point for us. Price wasn't too bad, either.
Cons: The only complaints I have are based on its intrinsic qualities - I'd like it to be bigger, cheaper, and better looking than it already is. However, I could just as easily purchase a different display.
Excerpt: I was looking for a monitor that wasn't a big step-up from a 19" 4 x 3 Staples brand monitor. I'd looked at a number of brands in store, and found the Samsung monitors had the best overall picture. In addition, this monitor has a height adjustment, which is almost impossible to find.
Summary: Cons: I had a dual monitor 17" and 19" side by side. This replaced the 19" 4:3 that bit the dust. I went with the 21.5" to save space and money, but the screen height of this monitor is actually less than my old 17" 4:3 monitor sitting next to it. Bummer. This is an inconvenience.
