Summary: I'd buy another of this exact monitor, if this one ever goes out. I really like the black red with the clear outside ring. Fancy while not looking too pretentious(apple). I've had this monitor for almost 5 years and have had no issues with it at all.
Pros: No ghosting, no image persistence, good backlight control, great color reproduction out of the box(for a non image expert). Lots of inputs and a built in tuner. This is not a TV, but is is a TV. :P It's a computer monitor that also happens to have a tuner built in. No tilt or height adjustment, b...
Cons: No tilt or height adjustment. Speakers aren't good, which sucks, because I was using the built in speakers from my Olivia monitor, which were great. Goes to sleep WAY too fast and then takes a while to come back on. Annoying for BIOS operations. Monitor takes longer to come back on than most BIOS...
Summary: I use this as a gaming/tv setup in my bedroom. I sit roughly 2 feet away and gaming is very immersive. I've always liked Samsung monitors/tvs, and will continue to buy/recommend them.
Pros: Plenty of connections, great size, speakers are very good, tilt/swivel was a big plus for me. Remote is nice. Touch buttons are cool, and can be turned off/on.
Cons: When watching dark movies, there are slightly noticeable areas of white at the top center and bottom center of the screen. Nothing distracting, but noticeable, not worth an egg. There also isn't a powered usb port for devices like Google Chromecast's. Just a service usb port.
Summary: This is one of the best monitor out in the market. Never had any kind of problem with this product. The problem if I have to choose to pick a problem would be have access to more location in buying more of them.
Pros: I've never had a problem with it. Whether it's been on my Xbox 360, my PS3, my PC or my satellite box it's been perfect. The VGA and DVI-D ports are nice for gamers like me that use this as a monitor
Cons: The one HDMI port is sort of restrictive, especially nowadays. Also, the power-off timer is annoyingly short, and the on-set buttons tend to be less-than responsive.
