Better than some screens, but absolutely terrible for a Samsung

Summary: The TV does not support a computer using HDMI. You have to use DVI or VGA. The TV also takes forever to boot up. Sitting next to an LG screen and Acer screen, the Samsung takes over 10 seconds to show the screen, while the other screens only take a few seconds.
Summary: I've had computer monitors since the 70's, maybe i'm fortunate but I have never had a bad monitor.SamSung has a great record for quality products. My luck ran out though. Again i brought my Acer 23" LCD back into action works flawlessly we're the Samsung failed not once but twice.
Pros: It's paid for.There's always hope they'll send me a different model#.
Cons: I've shipped it back for repairs twice.Something keeps going bad in the DVI ports. In random games the monitor screen goes blank. There are sounds in the background from the games but the picture doesn't return.I have to reset computer, come back through Safe-Mode then returning again to the full de...
Summary: I payed a lot of money for this monitor and i'm very unhappy with it. talking to Samsung tech.support.They acted as if i we're an itiot. There sight is difficult to navigate.I'm sure i could have the DVI port repaired hopefully by Samsung. The problem would still be an inferior product.
Pros: Games look great when it works in 1920x1080.when it works.
Cons: Goes blank screen in games at random times with DVI connection while sound and program in background. Reconnected my old backup monitor with same DVI and same resolution with no problems. With the HDMI.Desktop text looks terrible. This is a terrible monitor.I just wished i'd bought just a computer ...
Summary: Very good as a TV for small space. Falls short of qualifying as a monitor. Haven't tested it for gaming, so cannot comment. I would rate is as 2.5; as 0.5 is not possible, it gets 2.
Pros: Connections that this TV offers; HD image; intuitive OSD menu.
Cons: brace up to get shocked if the primary usage is as monitor. This is a good TV; marketing as a monitor is a gimmick. Comes with all the shortcomings of TN panels ie., bleeding, bad viewing angle. Includes only HDMI cable which is good but not sufficient. Swivels only in one direction.
