thin green line on arrive , service support useless

Summary: This monitor arrive on time no problems. Suddenly appears a thin green line that only appears in some colors , even if you unplug all the cables on the tv mode also. if you use the self testing tool include in the menu options the blinking green line always appears on the left side on the screen i'm really disapointed because this is my third monitor TV from samsung 23" 25" 27" . i don't recommend this model .
Summary: First, I give Samsung credit for a non-glare screen on the P2770HD, so it's viewable in less than total darkness. Otherwise it flops big time as a stand-alone TV. The sound level barely makes it, even for those of us with good hearing. Samsung, for reasons of its own, chose starved, glossy looks over better sound than the two on board 3-watt speakers can manage. We use this TV in a fairly small room. Fortunately. ... Otherwise it would be a dead loss.
Pros: None. Really, for a pc or laptop, absolutely none.
Cons: 16:9 ratio for a pc or laptop means the 27" screen is a waste of aobut 6" all around. What's the point of a big screen if it you can't use it? Oh, and set up with my Toshiba laptop? Pain in the *ss. Get ready for a help-desk call!
Summary: It was bought at a Christmas gift, and it isn't Christmas yet. There wasn't a star ratiing for no experience with using it, so I just picked the first star, since obviously if it hasn't been taken out of the box, the picture quality, etc. is nil. Thanks, e-Bay for soliciting this review!
REMOTE SENSOR NOT GOOD TO CATCH A REMOTE SIGNALS AND I CHANGED TWO REMOTE
3 May 2011
Summary: I bought this referbished tv on e bay the day 1st it&amp;apos;s remote not worked then I called to suplier he send me another remote that also not worked, I waste my money $ 269.00 now I am using without remote something is wrong in tv.
Pros: Good 1080p picture if all you want is to display Xbox or Cable TV programming.
Cons: Don't use as a monitor for displaying text at 1080p. Sure you can bump the resolution down to 1600 and get sharper text, but this TV is billed as 1900x1080p, why would you pay for a 1900 pixel monitor and settle for 1600?
Don't use this monitor for displaying text on your laptop/pc at 1080p

Summary: Caveat Emptor: I am an electrical engineer, and I purchased this TV based on the favorable reviews of this TV as a monitor. I have a Dell laptop with an HDMI connector, and a high res video card, and though I could connect and display a picture at 1080p (1920x1080 resolution), the resolution was not crisp, and there were noticable artifacts with text not being smooth and other image distortion.
