    Conclusion: The Samsung Syncmaster P2770HD is one decent device. It has nice styling, decent options, and great image quality but priced at AED 1,700, it’s a bit steep considering the basic inputs and lack of height adjustment. For a little more, you can easily get a 32″ FULL HD LCD with multiple input options. You won’t be sacrificing much of space and is perfect for PC and TV use as well (and i speak from experience).     Things to add/change: Buying a TV ready monitor really needs PIP. Also needs a side or front headphone jack. A rear jack is useless when it's on the wall. The default PC connection id a VGA port (really old tech). Should have an "HDMI PC" & "DVI PC". Read more

    Very nice monitor and television. Great to have the option to use an HD antennae to watch free shows. I use a mac mini to watch TONS of other free programming and Netflix. Goodbye cable! Be aware that the hdmi connect will produce a subpar, dark picture with a mac mini. DVI connection produced much better results. Read more or see product

    It's a gorgeous display with so much screen real estate that it makes my computer's desktop look as spacious as a drafting table. Illumination and color fidelity are exceptional. The on-screen controls are easy to figure out. All in all, it's a great piece of display hardware for the price. A little more range for tilting and pivoting the screen would be nice. Read more

    i am using a cable box in the hdmi and the color's are horrble plus when hooked in dvi you can not turn the backlite down at all worst monitor i ever owned plus backlite bleeding too. Read more

    I have 2 of these monitors and they have been great. Very good bargin for the money, very bright and overall a good deal. The only con that I have is the resolution. For a bigger screen, it should be able to do 1,920 x 1,200, The icons are very large at 1,920 x 1,080, but for the money (sub $200 each) you can't beat it. Also makes a good backup for a TV.     Bought the 27" version around 9 months ago directly from Amazon and it's still going strong. Flawless build quality, decent colours for a TN panel, no backlight buzz and no dead pixels ... perfect. Slight niggling issues I've noticed with mine are the well documented wobbly stand and slow start-up time when compared with my 2333T but that's it. Read more or see product

The SyncMaster P2770HD also comes with a glossy black bezel frame with rose hue along with attractive design that provides a contemporary look to the monitor.

The Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD features a stylish black 27-inch widescreen LCD display that comes with an integrated power supply combined with 16:9 aspect ratio, LED backlight CCFL that not only reduces power consumption but also provides better performances for viewing movies and playing games, a brightness level of 300 cd/m2, 5ms response rate which able to provide unblemished images, 1920-by-1080 full high definition resolution, and also equipped with a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1. It comes with programmable custom keys for enabling a one-touch access control of the monitor such as the MagicBright³ that enables you to automatically optimizes brightness, contrast, and gamma correction; MagicColor function for enhancing the overall color effects to view images whether in grayscale, green, aqua or sepia; plus an image size to view either 5:4 or 4:3 content on the monitor without distortion. The P2770HD is also equipped with two built-in 3-watt stereo speakers along with Dolby Digital Plus technology and SRS TruSurround HD. Other features of the Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD include a built-in analog and digital audio out connections, a coaxial connection for an antenna or cable, 160 degree vertical viewing angle or 170 for horizontal, DVI-D connector, VGA connection, component connector, composite connector, support HDCP, HDMI ports for connecting the LCD onto your game console, Blu-ray or other HDMI devices; headphone output and a built-in HDTV tuner.
