Summary: I was really pleased with the quality of this big screen and its display adjustments. After four years, though, it has begun showing text in a degraded, almost illegible way, especially in the upper right quadrant. If I highlight the area, the text returns to normal, but that's a pain to have to do so often. I recently tested for dead pixels, and for all the colors there were almost no dead pixels.
Summary: Very crisp image, and sleek design. But even those very important attributes couldn't redeem this monitor for me. Out of the box it had a couple of dead pixels. It took me a while to notice them, but as always, once they were found I couldn't stop staring at them. Also, the stand is a total piece of trash. The fixture inside of the monitor that fixes to the stand is incredibly tough to work with.
Beautiful LCD Monitor with good price from a very good seller.

Summary: Beautiful LCD Monitor with good price from a very good seller. I have bought this monitor to replace a heavy, bulky monitor for my desktop at work. It performed perfectly for many years. I love it.
Summary: I have always been skeptical of older used electronics. I mean can u really trust what the seller is saying about the product. The details provided by Samsung really gives you the feeling they are very proud of this, mid-sized, mid-priced monitor. I have found that they really have the right to 'pound their chests' on this one. They really hit the mark with a bullseye for the 'target market' that they built this monitor to for and then some.
Perfect desktop monitor! Gorgeous picture quality! Would buy again!

Summary: Extremely high picture quality, great color saturation and response time. Cool touch panel front display. Swivel and tilt screen is nice. Too bad it doesn't have speakers, but it is a monitor not a T.V. Also does not feature HDMI, but again, this is a monitor, not a T.V. and to include HDMI without speakers would be...odd.
Summary: I know this is wierd. i bought the wrong thing. as a matter of fact i have not used the computer monitor because I thought it was a TV when I bought it. I needed a TV. Its still in the case while I think of what to do with it. can I swith it for a TV instead?
Its a good monitor. I might even buy myself another one.

Summary: This was a great monitor for $99. Its got a dsub and a dvi connection in the back, so that should make dual monitoring an easier task. The resolution/picture quality are really terrific - it was an obvious improvement over my old Dell monitor. I bought the monitor because I wanted dual monitors, which is a useful productivity enhancement. As far as the cons/drawbacks go, I just wish it had a longer power cord. It was a pain getting it into place.
Summary: I bought this monitor 2 years ago as an external for my Macbook Pro. It is ok for it's price, not great color or resolution, the base is wobbly, but it's serviceable. It is buggy though. From the beginning it had a bug where when my laptop awoke from sleep I wold get a screen full of static from the Samsung. Turning off and back on the monitor would fix that. Now I am noticing that in Dashboard, widgets will not display on the samsung. They are just a washed out white.
