    I bought this monitor 2 years ago as an external for my Macbook Pro. It is ok for it's price, not great color or resolution, the base is wobbly, but it's serviceable. It is buggy though. From the beginning it had a bug where when my laptop awoke from sleep I wold get a screen full of static from the Samsung. Turning off and back on the monitor would fix that. Now I am noticing that in Dashboard, widgets will not display on the samsung. They are just a washed out white. Read more

    It also has a wobbly stand that can topple easily. Other than this, it is a beautifully designed product...but deceiving. its glamor is only skin deep. Read more

    • I have had many problems with this monitor. Weird linear color tracing shows up on windows 7 startup...the same abnormality shows up on the windows mediaplayer splash ...

    I know this is wierd. i bought the wrong thing. as a matter of fact i have not used the computer monitor because I thought it was a TV when I bought it. I needed a TV. Its still in the case while I think of what to do with it. can I swith it for a TV instead? Read more

    I wanna buy this monitor but in some form sites some users said that this monitor has a ghosting problem in PES 2009 (pro evolution soccer 2009) game ! How and why, I don't understand.. Could you test that please.. Thank you all very much..

  • Autocad drafting

    Is this monitor good for Autocad drafting? Is zooming in and out slower?

    Well, that depends. If you have installed an AutoCAD drafting software or program, then it will be good. The zooming in and out is normal like any other monitor. Monitors that are large, bright, with a high native resolution and a good videocard are assume to be good for autocad
