Summary: I bought this monitor expecting great quality from Samsung... I was so wrong. 1. Came with dead pixels 2. Horrible bleached colors no matter what settings you set it to 3. Blacks are more like greys 4. Horrible contrast 5. Stand is flimsy and doesn't support the monitor correctly 6.
Summary: Very thin and not heavy, stand isn't great but my desk is tall anyways so it doesn't need to be raised.
Pros: Has a beautiful picture, includes dvi -> hdmi cable so that's a plus. The dynamic contrast makes calibrating the brightness and contrast a breeze.
Cons: Calibrating the rgb is a pain, the software helps a little but the setup is very vague. My monitor came half broken. everything ghosted on the right half of the screen and i haven't gotten a confirmation on my RMA yet...
Summary: Samsung has been my preferred gaming TV's. They have, to me, always had bright and rice colors. I currently have a Asus VW246H monitor that has servered me well but saw this Samsung special for $218. I was stoked and purchased it.
Pros: Thin, light and pretty monitor
Cons: Colors are faded and dingy looking. Running Win7 64bit OS, I went to the samsung website downloaded and installed magic tuner suite. I then ran it once, which didn't seem to help much, after a restart stated it doesn't support my OS. Very disappointed in this monitor.
Summary: Not worth the money and I am very unhappy I bought this. Returned in the next day for a refund. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good 24" gaming monitor? I don't mind paying a premium but I don't want ghosting. My cheap 20" HP monitor looked 100x better than this.
Pros: - Looks good on desk - Matte Screen Stops Reflections - Touch controls are very sensitive
Cons: - Severe Ghosting (I used multiple programs and their was an extremely noticeable white/black trail behind everything I moved) - Blacks/Whites/Colors look washed out. Had to try and calibrate it for a few hours before it looked somewhat decent. -No HDMI cable included (does have HDMI - DVI though)
Summary: DO NOT BUY!!!! LOOK AWAY!!!! NOW!!!! RUN!!!
Pros: it works and newegg is the only reason for 2 eggs!
Cons: As this is a family environment, words cannot describe the disappointment in this monitor. Colors are washed out, and my high-end gpu cannot defeat the lightened colors, control buttons are a pain (work sometimes, sometimes dont) software doesnt work with either of my machines. I bought two of th...
Summary: Much poor then I expected HDMI2 port is glitching in 1920x1080 messing colours and blinks (same cable /computer/monitor shows fine with HDMI1 port) I expect HDMI2 is bad Failed to get Analog VGA working with my Thinkpad T43P Controls are sensor based and very inconvenient
Summary: The stand on this monitor is terrible. What an incredibly poor design. It is completely fixed. You cannot adjust the height or tilt of the monitor at all. When the monitor is sitting on the desk it tilts forward so the angle of the viewing is off.
Summary: I recently purchased this monitor to replace a HP 2509M that was stolen in a burglary. I took the chance on Samsung's reputation for high-quality LED based LCD's and the reviews I read online. I set it up and spent about an hour tweaking the display and could not get an acceptable image.
