Summary: I got this very fast, as fast as you can expect from a monitor, and it worked so what more could I want? I purchased this refurbished therefore mine had a bit of cosmetic dmg, a small crack in the upper left corner or the frame, but I don't mind since it saved me almost 50%
Summary: I read and read, I wanted to be sure I got the most for my money and I do know you get what you pay for. Well I have been using the monitor for several months and like I read from others I hate the buttons and the stand is cheap, but besides that it has a great picture and I expect many years of problem fee viewing. I have not had one problem.
Summary: I looked for a backlit monitor to eliminate reflection from the windows behind me. The Samsung B2430 gave me that plus solid color for my photo work, vivid and accurate color, really nice support for dual monitors (when my 2nd monitor is not switched on, applications load on the Samsung). Not sure why some other reviewers whine about tilting the monitor. The stand is solid, attractive, and tilts both up and down sufficiently.
Summary: This monitor definitely lives up to the Samsung reputation of great value and quality. I also own a Samsung 37" HDTV and the quality of this monitor is right on par with my TV as well. Before making this purchase, I shopped many competitor monitors and this one by far had the best picture quality, sharpest image, and most realistic color. It was a huge upgrade from my previous Envision 19" LCD monitor. And even though it was a refurbished item, you can't tell.
Summary: I recently purchased this monitor as a replacement for an NEC LCD monitor which failed after long service. The purchase was based on good experience with several Samsung LCD TVs, so I thought I'd try their monitors, but found I was a bit annoyed by the following: - The height and tilt of the screen are not adjustable, and the provided stand seems to impart a slight downward angle to the screen.
