  • Pros: Reliable Brand, MagicTune and magic bright features.
  • Cons: No dvi. and that means it will have only analog input. With no digital this means shadowing can happen and text will be slightly more dificult to read.

A decent general use monitor

  • Excerpt: I bought the Samsung Syncmaster 920N LCD display monitor about 18 months ago as a replacement for the one I had got in a package deal. Its 19 inch screen gives a superb display and has more display altering options then my television (brightness, contrast etc). If I had been prepared to pay a little more there were wider screens in the range available, but how far are you going to sit from your computer? Perhaps some people use there monitor as a television as well.

  • Summary: A Bargain! Get the widescreen one I've had it for ages and it's awesome. 1440x900 @ 60Hz looks crisp, no dead pixels, no LCD Burn or whatever they call it, if you keep the same picture on the screen it will burn the pixels or something, well nothing is wrong with it and it's way worth $179, I paid £99 for it and it's great.

  • Excerpt: "This is a rely good TFT monitor it has a good response time of 8ms and good resolution of 1280 x 1024 / 75 Hz. The pitcher quality is good. It has Up to 16.2 million colors and 0.294 mm pixel pitch and finally a 700:1 Contrast Ratio. All this makes for a good screen and for around 140.00 it is a great deal. The down sides to the screens are that it is not very adjustable and finally the buttons have a cheap feel to them. This screen is not ...
